Didn’t have time to troubleshoot, but yesterday I flew the Marshal stack training mission and when I was returning to the ship the TACAN seemed to be drifting from the ship by quite a bit. The distance seemed to be right but the bearing and location in the EHSD would go off by over 20 miles. I opened the mission file after but couldn’t see any other units that might interfere and the only other thing I could think of was that maybe one of the airbases also uses 44X and my TACAN was switching between them. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

I seem to remember on Wag’s first video him talking about not being able to change burst height yet. You’re supposed to set it to the default Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

It was included in one of the open betas- not sure which. Most, or some people never saw any improvement leading to Wags asking for troubleshooting. Currently WIP as we have no other info. Release version does not have it for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

On another thread here someone just said that various modules might use more. For example the F14 uses a separate core for radar or Jester Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

I think something like the 104th does with escalating target sites might work. Red has a ring of outer SAM sites that need to be taken out before moving in to the inner sites- and have all the outer sites also covered by long range inner SAMs. You want them to be vulnerable to some degree, but also make it a process to get to the high priority targets at the “center” or behind the front lines. What about defending from AirPower with more AirPower? A few f14s will keep the ground pounders on their toes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

Will sa-15 target jsow? I know it will target Mavericks and HARMs. Also- I recently saw an article (don’t remember where) which talked about how air power and SAMs have historically gone back and forth in which was more powerful, but for the last several decades air power has essentially triumphed (assuming unlimited munitions) due to the range and precision of modern air launched munitions. The stick response is about trimming. There are a couple different modes to try and make it work with non-ffb sticks. The one you’re talking about requires the stick to be centered before you regain control. The other mode gives you a short time (I think about a second) to center your stick before it fully kicks in. I don’t remember the names of each mode, but some of the really old stickies on the forum talk about adjusting timing and such. There is a button that temporarily disabled the flight director (rather than pushing the blue button) and when it’s deactivated there are some horizontal hash marks on your hud on the horizon I don’t think there is a way of importing anything to the abris as far as I know As far as sams. If there are radar sams nearby then you’re in the wrong battleground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

They call it mixed reality not because it’s supposed to actually be like google glasses, but because it’s supposed to be a new way to interact with windows- not just a gaming device. It’s all PR Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

And for question 2 aren't they the ones who did the PFM for ED's F15C? Hence why the credit went to them for the upgrade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

I agree with Madmatt. I mean really, do we want only a few threads here- one for each HMD? That would be impossible to find any relevant info without ready through hundreds of meaningless drivel. Now if there was an oculus sub forum that might be different, but a sticky thread - no Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 2400, Vega64 @1080p

If you are new to DCS I'll give you a piece of advice. There are many people on this forum who are current or former military pilots who have a better understanding than most about various aircraft and physics issues. If you want to argue about the speed of sound and what you'd hear it's best to try and find a source first. I've made myself look silly a time or 2 with things that seemed t common sense or things that I'd heard people talk about, that were nowhere close to true As to your other issues, over the last several years there have been many improvements to many things, but AI isn't really one of them (only some minor improvements). The game seems to be advancing in the multi-player environment but things that don't affect that sometimes get left behind. Like others have said there are improvements planned to AI but it's really about what resources are available. AI are intentionally simplified both in physics and in actions to be less demanding on our computers as the core program seems to take a lot of CPU time just by itself.
