  1. I would like it if they rotated through the various modules. Give everyone a chance to check out the ones they don’t own Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What type of harrier is that document for? If it’s not the NA then it probably isn’t a valid source for Razbam making changes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. And the bronco, and the tuccano and ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The August 22 entry should say September 22. As to whether it was included in today’s update I don’t know. Easy to check for someone who’s available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Pretty sure it’s all integrated into the helmet. Not sure if there’s a backup but if the helmet goes down there’s always the normal screens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Most likely it only counts the time in the air rather than engine on time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. There are 3 clamps on the bottom of each pedal that hold them to the metal rail. Each clamp has 2 small screws. On my rudders, loosening these screws means the clamps aren’t quite so tight to the rail which lets them move easier. There is still stiction, but less. There is apparently something about the nyogel 767a that makes it special. It’s a damping grease which means that it actually slows down the rudders movement which makes it less “jerky”. You would put any grease or lubricant on the metal rails underneath, but be warned that it also attracts fur if you have pets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have the same issue. I haven’t solved it but I have made it better -Loosen the clamps under the pedals a couple of turns of the screw so they feel a little wobbly -remove the heel rests and try and let your feet rest on the floor so that there is less weight on the pedals (more weight=more stiction) -use a free program called “joystick gremlin” to adjust curves. I don’t know why but for some reason it works better than the in game adjustment and then it adds a curve to the pedals for all flight sims -Next up I’m gonna try some Nyogel 767a as I’ve heard good things about it. All the greases and lubes I’ve tried haven’t helped but that stuff is made for this kind of thing. Look it up. You can get it off amazon for about $10-$15 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm a moron - I had reversed my button bindings while it was bugged and forgot that I had done so :)
  10. Anyone else notice that hot fix 3 for the open beta still has the F5E elevator trim reversed? I never tested after hot fix 2 but in the latest it’s still (or again) inverted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nvmd. I see they are in the beta Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Are these for the new sounds? Are they out in the open beta yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Well the TDC action/no action is (I believe) a cheat that models pushing and holding the TDC button. This is for people who don’t want to (or are unable) to push multiple buttons on their HOTAS. So first press toggles pushing the button and the second press toggles releasing the button. IRL they simply push and hold this button when needed. I don’t remember what specifically the action button does as I think it changes based on what else you are doing with the avionics. (Haven’t flown for while) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What is the point of the question. The game was essentially built around the A10C and Blackshark. Comparing them for completeness against a 3rd party developer is never gonna be a contest. Having said that though the older aircraft do need some love for the new lighting effects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. TDC control is stuttery Yes it’s an ongoing issue. I also find when my minisitck is pressed to the stop in either direction then the DMT stops. It’s like there’s a dead zone at the ends of travel but my axis assignment doesn’t show it. I haven’t noticed a problem using buttons instead of an axis- except it’s much slower. Ninja’d :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I wonder if the Oshkosh overshoot would have activated the EPU? Just watched a video of the recovery of the jet and the intake was jammed with mud which probably means the engine was toast and probably failed. No one was wearing any special equipment around the jet (although I don’t know how long that stuff would take to evaporate- or how long it was before they lifted the jet up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Just push the jettison all button Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don’t think you need it for the sidearm either seeing as it’s not a heat seeker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Pease no... some of us only fly the beta and the last thing we need is some intrusive watermark ruining our experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. 99% sure it’s the jettison switch. Happens to me all the time when I drop my fuel tank and forget to reset it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You just wait till it says mission complete or something like that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Comes from the British heritage. No automatic weapons for true marksmen! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I believe AI harriers are bugged right now and try to takeoff vertically. So if they are too heavy they just sit there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Or better is to add an object that we can place on runways for arrested landings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. While it would be single use only without repair- I doubt it would tear the plane apart. The landing gear are more likely to collapse. The act of catching a wire and rapidly slowing the plane isn’t that much different between ship and shore. (Is it?) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
