I would use those MFD functions with my Saitek X52 Pro, if they would work properly... so, you definitely have our interest.. thank you, :joystick:

I enjoy having the P-51D in modern missions. It is is hard to fly against modern enemy weapons, even the BMP3 kills the P-51D without leaving a big hole,, just one golden BB from a ground gun and the P-51D water cooled engine is pooched... but it's still nice to fly this WWII warbird against modern weapons... :joystick:

any hints when FC3 might be released? :music_whistling:

I didn't know that.. thanx,,, sometimes, with so many flight sims (from the past), I can't remember which ones use a bit of manipulation to obtain an effect... so that would be really nice to actually have F-16 flight characteristics or the real F-16 fm. I am glad that it's not just a skin then... it's the real deal.. :thumbup:

If I remember right, they use the F-15 and change it to an F-16 using a skin... in FC2.. :doh:

I was flying when we hosted another missions without combined arms... and were flying the A-10 mostly.. Then we hosted a mission with combined arms included and I went to fly the P-51D, and my sounds cut off when I started to taxi, I got out came back ina nd lost the sounds to the P-51D again, and agin,,, something weird is going on when CA is included in hosted missions.. IMHO :huh:

they worked good together in the past, why can't they now? I can say that everyone in our squad really enjoyed having FC2 with the DCS aircraft all together.. and look forward to FC3 integrated with DCS.. so, if you don't want it, don't buy it... :doh:

Pan Am used to have a real TV commercials with stewardesses saying 'Fly us, we have big DC-10s'', I believe it was around the early 1970's. I don't know if any copies of the filmed commericals still exist... when they found out about how they were perceived, I think they let them broadcast a little while before they were pulled.. :smilewink::megalol:

just about all water cooled engines in war, are 'Glass Jaw' engines.. one Golden BB, and the plane is worthless.... :cry: As long as you don't take a bullet in the cooling system... but when you do they really, really suck... take a bullet in an air cooled double wasp and you are probably going home in one piece..:pilotfly:

A-10C vs P-51D, in a dogfight. I found the P-51D wins. It is faster, the A-10C has only one advantage, if the A-10C can find and lock the P-51D with the a-a rockets, and that is not easy to do.... I kept looking to find ways the A-10C would win, and the P-51D has many more advantages, and is much faster... Try it ! - of course I flew the A-10C vs P-51D AI. See how the fight comes out.. :joystick:

I was flying a P-51D Blue against P-51D red AI, up above 15,000 feet and the AI outperformed me completely.. my plane became anemic and was very unstable.. how has everyone else done in this situation? :doh:

It appears I just need to toggle the arming switches one time, each side, for the bombs to activate and arm before dropping them... I do this by hitting my #6, and #7 keys 2x each to cycle them before dropping the bombs on each side. :joystick:

Ok, I went back, and uninstalled and (saved anything i wanted to keep) and re-installed all the new files.. the first time, was wrong to just overwrite the old files... hopefully, everything wil work with no glitches... so far, so good,, but I did have to put my in game controls back in, the new install did not save my settings.. ------------- I installed the latest Beta, on top of the last P-51D beta,, maybe that was a mistake? there were no dirctions, that I saw, that said uninstall the older Beta..

my bombs still are not going off, just puffs of dust where they drop... I just spent at least a full hour dropping bombs and trying every possible switch selection... I put it on unlimited ammo so I would not have to re-arm each time I dropped.. I am baffled what is wrong.. also, the spinner on the back of the bombs does not spin... not sure if that is known or again just on mine.. :cry: my rockets and guns work just fine... = update: If I just move the toggles switiches for bomb release using the cockpit switches, the bombs don't explode, but if I use the keyboard to toggle the switches,, and even put them back where they were the bombs will explode.. I am confused... at least I can get them to explode now.. I still think something is buggy, I don't see how the install is buggy, but maybe something went wrong on install.... at least they work if I do a dance now..

I dropped my torrent upload speed from unlimited to 50 k/sec or less and my download speed jump way, way up , in torrent download.. after I dropped my upload speed my download speed dropped to about 1.7 m /sec. At least I spent several hours helping seed the torrent,, at the expense of a very long download time today.. after I put a cap on my upload speed my download speed was a roacket and only tooka few minutes, the torrents were not corrupt, as the direct downloads were.. :smilewink:

I felt an adjustment to stall speed and like the new feel with the patch... :thumbup:

Update: went from about 40 k /sec to about 500 k /sec .. i spoke too soon,, about 200 k sec.. ---- re-downloading all files via Torrent, but it is very slow...

I think I found the problem, the 2nd file.. DCS_World_en_1.2.0.63205-1.bin maybe corrupt.. the checksum was bad.. I am re-downloading it..

I keep downloading 'DCS_World_en_1.2.0.63205.exe' and keep getting 'source file is corrupted' when I try to run it,, I have turned off my Norton anti-virus (Norton 360), I have run the checksum checker, yet, it always stops and says it's corrupted. I have downloaded it from several links posted on the official page. I think I had this problem in the past and somehow got past it,,, but now I do not know what is wrong.. I have also searched this form and read every other response from past issues from other users, and nothing they suggested has worked.. Any ideas? :cry: Thank you,

this thread looks like some bizarre solicitation of someone making something wierd and charging money, while using a developers simulator.. I don' think this stuff belongs here, if in these forums at all... I will be surprised if it isn't locked down and deleted soon... it looks like some type of scheme for kids to make money using odd childish humor... and using other people's property to make money... people come here for this flight sim and info... not ads and links to some wierd youtube channel.. imho :joystick:

some of the form is in Russian with MSIE browser. In my Google browser it displays all English correctly, what settings are messed up? thanx.. see photos attached..

the wing surface area of the F-4 Phantom is very small... compared to the size of the aircraft... very thin too...:joystick:
