  1. Rb04..! I have armed my share of AJ37's with those. Like hanging small airplanes under the wings ;)
  2. That sure looks nice!
  3. There are key hardware differences between the DK2 and CV1. One thing is the refreshrate. 90/s in the CV1 and just 75/s in the DK2.
  4. Hope you're right, MMJ! Some detailed info and pics would be awesome!
  5. And here's my ejection handle... It's basically a rubber tube with black and yellow plastic braiding mounted to a extruded aluminium electronics box. It attaches to another box that contains a microswitch. The parts are held together with magnets. When the parts are separated, by pulling the handle (duh!), the switch is released, closing the circuit, and repeated button presses are sent. So, I no longer have any use for my wish, although I do beleive it is a good idea to implement a VR ejection mapping.
  6. Yeah, you scared me..! ;) No, seriously, I was afraid that I came across as hostile. :) Attention to detail can never be negative! ;)
  7. "Nothing further, you honour!" ;) Well, yes, I guess you could view the flight control inputs (stick and rudder) as a force sensing unit, since it translates the force, applied by the pilot, into flight control deflection. But I just meant that the translation was correct, and that there were no force sensors in the schematics. :). I just wanted to explain myself. Nothing sinister. ;)
  8. Very cool score! Makes me think of the A320 Airbus for the Amiga. I could sit and listen to that tune for ages. :)
  9. Yes, and this is not a force sensor. It feeds the position of the stick into the artificial feel unit, which outputs a feedback force based on the stick position (and speed, altitude, etc.)
  10. Where? Do you mean the stick position sensor?
  11. Yes, the flightcontrols had artificial force feedback. There are no force sensors.
  12. Loser! So did I... ;)
  13. Is there an aircraft that doesn't have an axis that can be mapped for brakes? I did that when I built my own throttle quadrant. I use rotary encoders for trims and gunsight wingspan/range knobs. Every control that has a button for one direction, and another button for the other direction, can be controlled by a rotary encoder. Pitch trim, for instance. It has a button for nose up, and a button for nose down. I have a wheel that "presses" the nose down button as I roll the wheen one way, and the other button the other way. Just like using a PoV hat on your joystick, but this is a wheel. Works great.
  14. Or that line of numbers in the video means nothing at all, and Cobra&co are laughing their heads of at all this guesswork :) What does it matter when DCS:Viggen will be released? We all want it to be ASAP and bug free. Two incompatible wishes, unfortunately. The pre-release guessing is exactly the same thing we were doing during the pre-xmas period as kids. We were wondering and guessing what we might get for xmas. It helped keeping us busy while we waited, longing for xmas eve. The only difference is that xmas eve has a set date :) So, two weeks™, Cobra being an optimist, Spacegerbils looking for proof... We've all seen it before, long before there was flightsims on computers ;) In the end, there's nothing we can do but wish. Santa holds all the cards :D
  15. Very nice! I also built a throttle using DViks levers and MMJoy2.
  16. In the pudding... :D
  17. I got a Logitech T650 Touchpad. https://www.cnet.com/products/logitech-wireless-rechargeable-touchpad-t650/review/ I find that it's easier to find, since it won't move. A mouse is "dropped" in different locations every time it's used, and can be hard to find without looking.
  18. Exactly! The grip keys into the base part of the stick, so when you hold the grip, and unscrew the collar, you are stabilizing the stick. Tis is not the case with most extensions, unfortunately. You could use a pair of pliers and something soft to clamp around the base stick, and use that to secure the stick. But be careful so you don't scratch the plastic base stick.
  19. NumPad 5 to reset the view :) You can also bind that to you HOTAS in the UI layer in controls.
  20. No, it comes in second after the Gripen... ;)
  21. You probably broke the little "ball" inside it. Called "the articulation sphere". Similar to this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174962
  22. I use a VKB Black Mamba with extension and Thrustmaster adapter. Great stick! Perhaps a bit light springs for the heavy WH handle, but very precise!
  23. LoL! That's....disturbing!
  24. The recon versions are single seat. The trainer and later jammer versions are two seat. But I haven't heard anything about other versions...
