Well, that's why i wonted to post there in the first place, to ask if it will pick up some speed. The downloads that finished just before this one opened, were very fast.

No joy for me there too. btw. is anyone else DCS Updater 2.6.4.30 doing average 50 KB/s ? It's not picking up speed and in the last 40 minutes i'm only at 200 of 1886 MBytes.

I'd say i get overheated 1 time out of 5 in P51 Sometimes even with radiators manualy open. All my fault though.

That would depend on who your friends are. What is the game of their choice that they call a good game? You meant few people flying online or in general? Number of players in multiplayer is not a good way to determine the size of the player base.

Future is bright because there is no real alternative to DCS. As far as F18 vs A10, speed is not always the advantage. Both have their irreplaceable role. Some new maps, more AI planes from WW2 until present and the announced planes from 3rd party devs will help a lot.

Wrong IPD setting will only make you sick, but it will not make things smaller or bigger as far as i'm aware. Nothing we can do about it on the user side.

It didn't CTD for me but i hoped this workaround will help to get rid of tracking lag and judder with everything on low... it didn't but i'm glad it's working for the rest of you. W8.1, i7-920 and HD7980

I'm on old i7 920 and ati HD7980. Windows 8.1 and amd drivers with 0.7 SDK Support. I only tried F-15 quick mission several times. It always loaded, and never crashed during game play. Game freezes when i escape and click exit but that is sometimes the case even without the rift on that mission. Vsync is off but i still have heavy judder which is to be expected with my GPU so i cant play for long before i get sick :puke: I think that people should try same testing scenario with and without the rift, to make sure that the rift is responsible for CTD or other errors before reporting.
