    2 Keyboards

Seriously guys I would really like to see how your desk is looking :D More on the point, maybe there's a way to create 2 column in the controls, but that looks conflicting to me. I wonder how the command unit are detected though (e.g Logitech G13)
  2. +1 some peoples get sick when opening lua files :D (not me)
  3. "So, yeah, i don't think ED will equal modern GE." Well that's kinda pessimistic. "But i also don't think Ubisoft (please no), EA or any DirectX/Cider master house will make a true sim too." lol those companies have employees that are managed to do what the directors want them to do. They could make a sim, that's just not their market.
  4. ^^^ this Indeed ED is already working on a better engine and people are still complaining about the old engine as if nothing was going to change, sorry but I think ED know what are the weaknesses of the old one and guess why? Because they made it! About the audio, I barely agree with you sereupin, it's far from being "poor", it needs tweaking, that's all and it's fairly achievable by the community but the amount of updates make it difficult (same from graphic tweaking).
  5. First impression from external point of view, it bounces way too much at startup (it was in MP so it could the cause...). Now good news, the sound is awesome and the tracer rounds are madness.
  6. Are you supposing that ED should use on of your engine above? If ED works on its own engine, there's a reason. Ok go ahead! Tell us names and share your incredible rendering technics. But maybe you know objects are already rendered progressively? Eagle Dynamics isn't a big company in the game industry and I don't think they intend to tease the big ones (big ones that mostly create arcade things) but if you have some funds to give away, do not hesitate! Btw Outerra is far from being a reference, it's neither a revolution nor bad.
  7. Really interesting reading Spudman! That's more than "2 cents" to me and it's totally right. Though I don't really understand the "TOW jump", as it's guided so normally the missile would land where the crosshair is aimed at. What was the range? I feel like the dev teams are sometimes really wrong about the accuracy of the weapons. Maybe to make the game harder, I don't know, but that's ridiculous, same problem with rifles recoil in Arma 3 for example. I've a friend that was a Leclerc gunner, in training he was able to hit 7 targets on 8. So yeah, 50% to 75% in game is not good at all...
  8. Nice docs over there! thx! On topic, give me an AH-64D or a Tiger (or both?:P), I hope that dream will come true one day :)
  9. +1 "Can't download object http://update2.eagle.ru/dcs/objects/12/127e8a7d22ca69ccd9f5c5389cf904bafb44861398b0636fc914d376e4f38034 : hash mismatch" :protest:
  10. Auto updater won't update... It seems like I'm getting punished.
  11. Hi, I'm afraid the answer is no, the AI JTAC has been implemented in DCS World (advanced waypoint actions), it's possible with Flaming Cliffs 3 though. The only way is to have a friend with a FAC payload. But DCS World has a free SU25T! You might want to check it out if you didn't, because it's possible for you to set a JTAC on it, then grab an other SU25T and you're good to blow sh*t up! :)
  12. I know that Greek pilots are pretty good and can achieve great exercices, though the "always first" is wrong, you know it's making a generality. So yes their pilots are good and the reason is because it's rock hard to have a slot! Same thing here in France, to get your a$$ in a Rafale you have to be the best of the best at the flight school. Here is my point, that's exactly why the Greek Air Force cannot be on the top, yes they are good in exercices, but do you really think they will handle a 6 months war? The answer is certainly no, as well for Israel which put way too much money in the miilitary equipement and couldn't maintain it properly in a conflict.
  13. I agree with you on that point, Greece has a good air force and should be in the game and there's a lot more missing actually. Though not sure "it's on the top of the air forces" ^^
  14. Sentence of the month!
  15. Hey guys, I'm still banging my head into the keyboard for that. Just so you know ^^ I spared some time yesterday to correct my dll, I'll be testing it tonight.
  16. Agree with that, with the A10 at least.
  17. Hi, I didn't moved to FC3! I still have FC2 and I'll happy to play it sometimes. Tell me what's the name of your server please. Or better search Madone on xfire or CR11Madone on steam so I'll catch you in game.
  19. Nice one Frogisis, I'm going to install your mod tonight and test it out. At the first glance, your trails tweaking seems really nice. I couldn't help you with the damages, there's a lot of parameters to take care about, I also think that it will cause problems for the multiplayer.
  20. lol I guess we will see some nice new homepits around! Great vids though! That huey will really kick some arses! :)
  21. Hi, Last time I scattered an ammo depot it was in 1.2.1 version and 2 GBU 10's were enough to get it flat. I manage to put a bomb on both end of the depot. I don't know if they changed it, but 3 times GBU looks pretty ridiculous, though I still don't really know how thick are the walls and the roof. Though a delayed GBU 10 would drill a nice smoking hole in that type of building I'm sure.
  22. D'où la sauvegarde du fichier modifié et d'origine...
  23. The graphene is an interesting thing but looks pretty expensive, though if I understand well, the quantum mathematics allow more operations at the same time. But I might be quiet wrong. Still, I think since 2009 we are pretty much hitting "the wall" as they said, in terms of performances, I feel like the companies played with their capabilities for a while to keep the market busy but the more I look at what is available, I find nothing new, they just add more and more quantity. I also think they are a bit scared of creating a whole new type of CPU...
  24. Good and interesting explanation Skate. What about Quantum mathematics though? I wonder if that thing will go into our processors in the future... :)
