First question, it looks like I uncaged my missiles when I switched my "Gun, Missile selector switch" to "Missile". Is there a way to "cage" them again - or simply tune down the "sidewinder-growl"? edit: tone volume doesn't seem to work for this.. :) Second Questions: Do I need to select the fuel tanks somewhere for them to feed fuel?

When flying online and choosing which team to join, don't even think about looking at the numbers ingame. Look at which side is in TS3 and go with them, **** those lonewolves. They deserve to die! =) If the enemy is determinend to kill A2G you need dedicated cap and communicate with them. As you noted for the A10C that is really easy with the ANCHR selection behind the stick. You don't really want to have mk82's with you on missions with SAM/AAA cover, chose laser/gps guided bombs instead. Also note that a triple station (mav, rockets or bombs) will slow you down greatly (drag).

Jau das liegt daran das zwei spieler die gleichen OWN ID's haben, wahrscheinlich noch auf default 01. Das ist ein ziemlich nerviges feature, man hat online halt öfters mal ein paar noobs dabei die auch nicht auf erklärungen/bitten die ID's zu ändern reagieren, damit muss man dann leben.

I think this patch was after you published your findings. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=119581 DCS 1.2.7.23097 "ECM effectiveness against air defense systems has been significantly increased." And also some changes to missiles/launch logic I think. If this was after your test's, you don't have by any chance inclination to check this out again...? :music_whistling:

Frag doch mal die anderen betroffenen ob sie schon Anzeige erstattet haben evtl. macht das etwas mehr eindruck wenn du vor Toto&Harry einen bereits bestehenden vorgang angeben kannst? Das die dich weg geschickt haben find ich ein unding, kenne mich aber auch nicht so gut mit der Rechtlichen Situation aus. Kennt denn jemand die genauen fristen die man dem Verkäufer einräumen muss? Wenn die überschritten sind und die sich weigern eine Anzeige aufzunehmen wäre ich ja so angepisst das ich direkt zum Anwalt rennen würde ggf. mit Nachspiel. Aber ich habe auch das Unverschämte Glück das ich hier einen kenne und mich das wenig bis garnix kostet...

Hey as I said in TS3, with the modification of the graphics.lua I couldn't see Stars in the A10C at night. When I put on my NVG I could see them, but not without. I changed the graphics.lua back and can see them again, anyone else got this in the A10-C/other planes? Das meinte ich, sollte schon jedem klar sein. ;) Das solltet ihr euch auch alle hinter die Ohren schreiben, auch wenn man ein Modul schon hat, kann man es bei einem Steamsale z.b wunderbar als Geschenk kaufen und später einfach weiter tauschen.

I want to stress this, Headspace is reading this of course, and I am sure nobody here want's to think that we don't respect his work. We are very grateful for his time&efford and I am sure everyone appreciates TARS very much. We are just expressing a wish for even more and better integeration, of something that lot's of people around here hold in high regard. @Skate, The problem is getting people to use it. If it is something that works from the get go, and people have to put minimal effort into it, they are generally more open to it. Now every step that you throw in, downgrading TS3, installing mod/software, configuring, joining the server, switching the channels etc. For every action you lose some people in the process. I know you can argue somebody who learns to use the HOTAS system on the A10C won't be impressed by a TARS installation but that is not the feeling I get when there is a event for example and somebody ask's "should we use TARS?".

I understand using TS3 would be an issue because ED would have to get a license, because they make money of their product unlike Falcon BMS for example. Can somebody clear this up before we throw this around more? With eyes on the above problem, how about different options like mumble? Do they have licenses for something like this? On that note I want to throw PR:Mumble (Project Reality) in. They use something like TARS, ACRE & IVC on a global server with different channels for the different PR servers. Once you join a server you get automatically switched to the right channel for your server/team/squad etc. - you don't have to do anything. The server running the "Game" is not affected. Please keep this in mind when you throw around the "omg DCS fps suck now, don't add voip!111" reasoning. If there would be issues with bandwith/server capacity it would be because of shitty implementation. :) Edit: @SkateZilla, that is the point, it is third party, slowly developed by single person, with RL commitments that naturally come first. It is not working as easy as it is made out here, for example that it is not working with the latest TS3 version which most people use. That is a bird in the engine right there! We had this discussion for years over on the PR forums! (lots of the community mix so I know many people know what I am talking about). People will always chose the way of the least resistance, which is no comms, no mods etc. simply outside of a squadron TARS is not really done. Not because people generally dislike it but because it is a chore to set it up, get the people to set it up, and have people actually join in. Heck most of the time you can't get more than 20% on a public server into Teamspeak. (Funnily I think this is mostly because lot's of flights mix in one channel and people get confused by the action eg. no TARS to deconflict things) TARS is not enough, we want the full integrated thing so people will actually use it. If poor Headspace would be paid for his hard work by ED and maybe gets some coding support/ a paid henchman everyone would be much happier. Kickstarter? =)

Naturally I have checked out the F15C. Anyone else sometimes has an engine flameout? Is there something here that I should pay attentio to? (Like in the Hog, dont fly upside down longer than 10secs) Fun stuff!
