  7. Or perhaps the wings don't snap off so easily, because as far as i understood the manual never really implies if you cross this threshold the wings fly off. Also you can read the cy-27 thread in the Russian side of the forum there's plenty interesting stuff there.
  8. Yep, it happens every time i trim reset, it doesn't matter if hold the button or not. The ctrl+Enter that pops the little window, shows the joystick circle slightly to the left or to the right, if i unplug the joystick, nothing changes, so it's not the joystick. The roll however is very slight, so it might not be noticeable, but it's definitely there.

It does work on all channels, but there's a bug, that i'm not sure has been reported, but the trim doesn't reset correctly for the roll channel If you trim your stick so you induce a right roll, and then trim reset, the trim will reset, but it will keep rolling slightly to the right, and vice versa.

  11. There may be a bug, because it's always the right wing that snaps off, so either one wing is too weak, or the other is too strong or it's a matter of how much pressure is applied to the wings.

  13. A project that aims to replace the older airfield assets with completely new ones. I have provided 3 sets of textures: high resolution - 2048x2048, mid resolution - 1024x1024, low resolution 512x512, optimized resolution (this offers the least amount of performance impact when compared to the original asset, while giving a clear and noticable texture quality improvement). Base textures for those that want to re-save in their own dds compression are also provided, since I chose to use DXT1.   15. I didn't want to talk about this, but i have to. The defense on the airfields in my opinion is completely Blue sided. The blue side has a access to chaparrals which have great range, while the missile is easily trashed good luck spotting it, then they have an avenger which has 8 stingers, and a gun, finally a vulcan. On the other side the Red side gets nothing comparable to that. Red gets Strela-10M3 and Strela-1 9P31 vehicles, which are no where close to comparable to the ones that Blue side has access to both in ammo count and range, and finally a Shilka, which is pretty similar to the vulcan in game. To add to that aim-120s are in play now, it shifts the balance completely in blues favor. Nice asymmetrical balance could be achieved by giving red some of their better Sam systems, like the BUK, OSA, Tunguska, TOR. The Blue side can even get a HAWK, because quite frankly the s-125, and KUB are pretty useless, and shooting things down. Also the ka-50 could get some closer spawns like on sochi and such to actually have some sub 45minute flight times, and get into the action before getting blown up by everyone and their grandma most of the time.
  16. I don't know why people have an issue with server providers controlling their server environment the way they see fit, i mean if you don't like a specific server just go play on another one? Surely more options for end users should be welcomed? Or perhaps there's something in the fact that some people are so vocally against enhanced file integrity checks?
  17. Thanks, i got it sorted out. Though i have a problem with the smoothing groups not being exported at all, how does one go about fixing this?
  18. Where do you need to slot the specular texture, for it to be exported correctly? the normal map and diffuse are fine, but i can't get the specular to work properly. Also does the reflection value in 3dsmax play a role in the specular textures intensity ingame? also How can i change the normal maps intensity?
  19. When the "model enlargement" is on small it's fine, you can still sneak about, and things are still hard to see, it just a makes a tiny bit easier.
  20. you can see way further that 1 to 3km with your eyes, i mean unless human eyes see at 1920x1080, which looking at the DCS community they probably do.
  21. You don't understadn what he's talking about, LEAVU effectively augments your aircraft's systems, in Russian aircraft you get a much better RWR, in the mig-21 you'd get an amazing systems update, that i'm not sure any real life mig-21 even has.

  24. It's because the HUD is actually a huge plane that's really far infront of the vehicle, that is only visible when you look at it through the hud glass. It's just how it works, and i highly doubt it will be changed, or if it even can be fixed.
