"Rising sun" is the ensign of Imperial Army, Imperial Navy and JMSDF, not the Japanese Flag, so if it means anything, I would still count on WWII prop. ;)

Nevada is going to use aerial imagery as textures. The resolution of such images (either from plane or satellite) is always "unit of lenght per pixel".

There's a separate entry for every aircraft (and engine!), it has oves 6500 lines. F-15 is already on 0.1 (max is 1.0) which is really small amount, but it can go lower that that. Smoke off completely would be unrealistic because F-15 DOES smoke, especially at throttle change. 1:55 here: WA07I6t6hyg

You can always edit PlaneConst.lua if you wish, look for smokiness_level parameter. \DCS World\Scripts\Database\

Only standalone throttle is from CH. TM sells Warthog stick without throttle, but not the other way around.

For that budget with separate throttle, Thrustmaster Hotas X is the only choice. TM T.16000 is imho much better stick for the same price (+-), but has only throttle slider. Saitek Cyborg has a little bit better throttle, but I can't comment on that stick... although I heard it's crap. Or used X52...

Well, depends on what you mean by cheap. Saitek X52 is not that expensive for what it can do. Then Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X which is really lowcost, although it has too few buttons for my liking...

There are no layers in DDS or really in any other format used in games. It might be because of better mipmap use, original textures have too few levels (another bird with texture problems is F-86... dunno if they just can't see that stuff) Although I think that 2 FPS gain = placebo or observational error. :music_whistling:

You'll have to edit the cockpit textures (assuming you actually bought the module), located usually in Mods folder. ;)

Some people might not be actually interested in 21, believe it or not. Also, because LNS did such a wonderful job so far, we're eager to see what they bring us next ;) I see nothing wrong with that.
