Lets just hope we get the option to fit the module on all the older birds.
Takes time to adjust textures and instrument panels on each of these aircraft where the module would be fitted. Same goes for code connecting to radio and gauges.
And i discovered it to late :(
I mean its a nice feature for the MI8 and good to have ingame overall but im more of a wing pilot then a rotorhead and now that i see i cant select it for the L-39 i was like SIGH
Im sorry but this movie took time out of my life that i waisted on one of the most boring, storyless, empty character depth and random scene forward- backward jumping brainless script war movies i have ever seen....
What a waiste of time
Well to bad for Thrustmaster then because if they were smart they would have made a proper base with a gimbal like VKB
in combination with the F/A18C stick that would be a day 1 purchase from me. But im not gonna use this crappy base for much longer im sick of the poor quality.. (p.s. broken wires, relubing etc etc)
Dont even get me started on the cheap plastic inside crap. Unless they come up with something thats actually worth that amount of money i would stay away from their products.
There are at least 3 other companies that make controllers that are miles ahead when it comes to quality parts.
I know ED had ups and downs the last few years when it comes to the Sim engine and modules that came out for it. We all had days where we yelled at our screen and cursed the people from ED.
But holy mother of jebus after a bumpy manual installation of Normandy and the asset pack I fired 2.1 up and I was really impressed.
First I tried flying in the Normandy map and it is beautiful.
Second I started Nevada and selected the cold start Su25 mission and I was amazed with the difference. It felt like a complete different simulator. That is in a positive way. The lighting and the feel I had while flying was so amazing it brought tears into my eyes.
I cannot express anymore in words my joy of flying in DCS.
Thank you ED and all in involved like the 3d party devs etc for making this Sim something as amazing as it is for now and the many years to come.
Clear skies!
I hear some very well made points from people here. I personally think that some of the 3d party devs are performing below the level they should.
And others have delivered beautiful products.
But like Sith said besides ED pulling the strings tighter on quality control to avoid issues with unfinished modules YOU are the ones that can keep the hand on the pocket aswell. I personally learned my lesson well with some of the studios.
On the other hand i think we should be careful not scare off people with potential to deliver a great quality product. That said, god bless afterburners and supercruise and i bid you goodnight !
Beautifull work !
One thing i noticed in the Mirage was the CCIP line was clearly sharper then the rest of the HUD elements.
Havent checked CCRP yet.
