  1. nice to meet you Mike!but what i need is your online nick name...when i reserve an aircraft for somebody, a script will check whether the nickname fits to the aircraft...so i need the name you have online.
  2. well...ok there are quite some other changes....for example the flare gun is now via the mission editor removable.... also, they now added a stickforces to the virtual stick...so at already 300kph you cannot move the stick fully back anymore(seems a little odd, but still) it also seems to have different ground handling(the sounds definitely changed as well) the wings themselves though, didnt change it seems.
  3. open beta 1.2.15-wings really? still?really?i am very surprised to still have the wings breaking bug in the current open beta, especially after such a changelog....how can it be, that yo-yo and others reported that in their internal version its been fixed since weeks now, and we still get that bug within the open beta... i understand its open beta, and there might be the possibilty that it will be included in the release version....but it feels as if the guys who are responsible for "whats to be included in a patch" just overlooked that important bug...(or set some completely wrong priorities) PLEASE pay some attention to it, and include it in the official 1.2.15 patch!
  4. in regards of the population of the ww2 servers...i think its safe to say, that every ww2 server out there noticed a few more players with every module... so the numbers are increasing.but slowly. i think and hope that once we have a ww2 map, the servers will be busy. its interesting, it seems that a few days after a ww2 aircraft release, the servers are really crowded....but then pretty quickly the numbers decrease again quickly to slightly above the level prior to the module release.it seems that people are buying the modules, but that the modules themselves are not enough to hold their interest....
  5. ^^yes i can change the skin for blackwolf....no problem!probably tomorrow!
  6. i think they stated that they still plan to sell it also as 1package once the initial 6planes+the map is released....i dont know...from what i hear from people, it seems its not the price of the modules themselves, but more the lack of environment the planes fly in which keeps them off buying dcs ww2 aircraft. i just hope that not only more 3rd party devs jump on board and start to build ww2 aircraft+units+maps(because even if VEAO has a very promising dev list, they cant do it all on their own, at least in the timeframe i would like to see :) ), but also, that ED themselves keep producing ww2 content after the current announced project...its still a dream, but i really hope that one day we will have a complete ww2 sim comparable to il2 1946 in dcs...it doesnt have to be hundreds of planes and hundreds of maps, but a few "complete" theatres where you really feel that its kind of a finished product with the outlook that everything is WIP and more content to come...
  7. i agree!still when i hear around in the ww2 sim community...the overwhelming majority gives as a reason to not fly dcs the lack of a map...now the few people who do fly the dcs ww2 aircraft can ignore the lack of a map...for different reasons.i personally can ignore it because of the details went into the cockpits, systems and flight models...and therefore the resulting PvP dogfights... however,...to fly in singleplayer, i personally would need more to immerse myself when flying against AI, which becomes pretty quickly pretty repetetive.... i guess i am not alone with this...still i would definitely give it a try! EDIT: i guess what im trying to say is, that im convinced that the same thing would get way more attention if we already had a ww2 map, proper units and such...

  9. well im not happy with the rudder yet...also there is a few things i need to find out....for example, is it possible to paint things like the landing gear struts? the shark or whatever animal mouth is also still WIP.... actually there are lots of things which need to be reworked... all i know is, that without the templates given by Maler or YOU, there would be absolutely no chance for me to make a skin....weathering for example...i would have no idea how i would do that on my own...also all those rivets and details,...i would be lost.
  10. ok understood! well Shadoh...i can understand the so called lack of interest in this somehow...i think that something like that to really make sense, unfortunately a map would be needed...but dont get me wrong, right now everything is a win for us right now, so i would be all for it although im almost exclusively an online player.
  11. ok,...then i will ask straight away :) what about that b17 mod?i think you were/are involved in this?
  12. nope!....yes they should also do korea theatre,...but definitely not abandon ww2.
  13. ^^where is that file saved? nevermind...i think i found it!
  14. what do you intend to use for bombers?
  15. thank you.... i got one more question though to the skinning experts here... right now my plane is using the default numbers...so they are not painted directly onto the skin.... i had a look into my dcs directory, but i just couldnt find that file responsible for the numbers...anybody knows where that is saved? also, if i would then adjust this file, for example using a different colour than white for the numbers...could i then just rename the file, save it in the skin folder and refer to it in the description.lua file?
  16. yes JST, i will correct it. my first attempt...i guess i will never be good at this.... :)
  17. ok started to work on my first skin for dcs....dont laugh
  18. sounds awesome!with a B17 mod it would be even better :)
  19. =ACG WW2+Skinpack 3.0=- MOD-PACK AVAILABLE!!!! mission and modpack updated! link is in my sig
  20. theoretically possible with another script only though...so....i really want to avoid using another script...it will get too confusing. so please, 1plane per person.
  21. need your correct pilot name!btw, very good skin for your first try....wait until you see my first embarrassing work lol
  22. lol i think i need a coffee first....ok i could have figured that out myself... yes sleipner, i can do that for you guys...just give me the correct names and tell me which plane i should connect to which name...
  23. ok....today i will start to add some slots again...sorry for the delay! @Sleipner....sharm...ist that your squadron?with the skins for your pilots?
  25. the way i understood, it will not be graphical only, but actually geometrical modeled. therefore it should be possible to model sensors to be limited by that as well...but thats only my assumption...
