  1. we created for now two more channels for the allied side.you are welcome to join us Nirvi!would be nice to hear a voice of the Pilot flying the most dangerous/irritating paintscheme on our server :)
  2. thats my impression as well...the bang was typical for early 109 versions, i.e. Emil...also, if you pull carefull enough, you can make the slats in the K4 go out very slowly, and if you have silk hands, you also can keep them in a half-out position if you want to....though, if you just start an agressive turn, the slats will bang out...wonder whether this would make any noise audible...
  3. careful what youre stating here...as it is now, in the 109, it can happen that infact you actually ease the pressure on your stick, meaning you are pushing it slightly forward, and yet in game the virtual stick does the exact opposite. should he stall at such an aoa?,...very likely...should the aoa increase while you are actually pulling the stick to ease the turn? certainly not. yet in certain situations exactly thats happening with the current implementation of stick forces.
  4. yet the devs are of the opinion that its the most intuitive and only realistic implementation  waiting for VEAO's Emil, convinced that they will not implement such a joke
  5. if you held your stick in one and the same position, then you definitely increased your AoA, because the virtual pilot began to move the stick more and more back as airspeed decreased.
  6. ^^very likely the stick forces and the curvature setting that comes with them...as you flew with more than 500kph, and started to deflect the stick, the virtual stick was deflected by x%.through the turn, the plane decreases airspeed.now even though you probably held your stick in one position, the virtual stick begins to move more and more back, as the forces needed to deflect the stick by x% earlier are the same as now to move the stick x+y%.
  7. well, i think its sooo much work to model a B17 on dcs standards...but i think it would be sooo worth it either.for me there is already no alternative, but fully modeled b17+a proper ww2 map would make dcs ww2 stand out forever. it would kill its competitors i think. there are so many possibilities with it.and i think, that on dcs standards, it would be the first sim, where people actually fly bombers...online as well. if they can do it, they should. i am convinced it would pay off for them big time. also, i completely agree with the last few posts.it would be blast.
  8. thank you guys for all the answers and links!i will give it a try and report back!
  9. we currently use slmod...and that is working ok(ish)...i searched a while ago for servman, but i am not sure i found the most recent version...or a working version at all...tried to install it once, and failed :) anybody got a link to the most recent version? EDIT:although if its possible with slmod, i prefer to stay with it, as im already familiar with slmod already...
  10. hey guys!anybody knows whether its possible to restrict players from joining if they are having a too high ping?or automatically kick them once they have a higher ping than accepted??
  11. yes for manual control, the 109 has just about the perfect speed.... BUT Yo-Yo, could you please reconsider the damage model for both the P51 and 109 in regards of prop pitch damage? especially the AI planes manage every time to kill it with 1 single shot out of ridiculous angles, distances, and even more annoying from what seems impossible, directly on your six i.e. its like for the AI your whole plane is the prop pitch automation.
  12. ok sorry for being off topic again...but, after weeks of wondering why so many people talk about youtube showing 60fps videos now, i finally found the solution...or the problem why i couldnt see them in 60fps... its true, youtube now automatically shows the videos in 60fps, if the video is watched in either 720p or 1080p...but i never noticed a difference, because i used the wrong browser...i all the time used firefox, and for now it seems that only google chrome and safari are the only two browsers which take advantage of that....so today i installed google chrome, and its making a BIG DIFFERENCE! EDIT: ok i was wrong again! :D firefox is able to show youtube vids in 60fps if you just disable the flashplayer pluging!
  13. interested in that as well....wags once answered me on the eagle support that it will be available when its available. :)
  14. well, yes, its accessible for the public...BUT: of course we claim our right to kick or even ban people, if they show wrong behaviour. well, we can quickly create channels for the allied side as well of course! and you are right,...we could without a problem host our own ts server.and we thought about it for quite some time...but both STP and 9JG27 came to the conclusion, that its better to use their ts server(at least for now)...for 1 reason...UNITE the community! but i will definitely create new channels!
  15. i said it already, but have to say it again...the Jug is the one allied fighter im most looking forward to. it has something appealing i cant really describe.loved it from the first second when i first glanced at a picture when i was a little kid.its ugly and yet a beauty at the same time somehow. fascinating bird for sure.
  16. yes...we have our own channels on the =STP= teamspeak server.those awesome guys were so nice to share their home with us :) so, a BIG THX to STP!
  17. 9./JG27 is glad to announce that we now have our own 24/7 WW2 server. The server is rented by a big provider, and is placed in Germany. -=9./JG27 FightingLegends=- 9./JG27 will continue to work on the modpack, formerly known as the ACG modpack, which is highly recommended to use on our server, for both better visibilty of aircraft and correct appearance of special liveries. for more information, either ask here, or visit our website www.9jg27.com
  18. ok...since the last days, you may have noticed, that there is now a server called -=9./JG27 FightingLegends=- our squadron started to rent its own 24/7 server, so i am not in charge on the ACG server anymore... but, of course i can implement a slot for you on our server.
  19. i am not exactly sure anymore, but i once tried to fly with keyboard just for the fun of it and to see how this is working...iirc, it is not 1(full defelction) or 0(nothing) as you say, but you keep the button pressed, and the stick deflects more and more, until you release the button.then the virtual stick stays in that postion, until you give other inputs again....
  20. not implemented yet! you can easily test yourself.hit R-Ctrl+Enter
  21. in the p51 they help quite a bit.
  22. ^^i know,...that wasnt a complaint, just a notice.
  23. as it is now, the flaps give you no advantage in turning with the 109 at all it seems. we did a couple of test turns against each other, and we were all quite surprised that the flaps didnt help at all...usually even the 109 with flaps down stalled first.(we tried several different position of flaps)
