  1. Well the grimm reapers videos have served me well for over a decade...I will not slander them...but they're not infalable, and it is a new modual with a questionable manual IMO...but I believe the radar workings as is are incomplete or malfunctioning,not sure which ...hehe.

I believe I figured out the problem,,, in the irst video by grim reapers the same picture you posted above which is from the manual, is different from the one he shows in the vid.., its labeled on top as ir and radar lock above the solid circle with cross. Which I interpeted as a radar lock.He even comments about it in the vid as thinking the radar was off and was surprised to see it was on. This is what confused me. I expected a broken circle as my radar was off. I will grab a screen shot to illustrate what I mean and post it here ,then you can see my confusion.So the question now is, does the hmd lock method alert the target with radar illumination by automatic comming on when locking in hmd? I assumed it was a stealthy mode.
  3. In the hmd a solid circle with cross is a radar and ir lock...but if the radar is off why does it still show that symbol? In other words, what's activating the radar if its in a "no illumination" mode?
  4. Why am I getting radar locked symbol in my HMD using irst when I have the radar turned off???...is it a bug? ,or does it turn it on when a lock command is issued...OR... is it the missile radar that's locking the target??
  5. A lot of what's written in the English manual just doesn't make any sense, and there's too many examples to list...it is badly needing a re-edit. I'm spending way to much time trying to interpret the manual meanings. I mean its a MANUAL!!...there should be no interpretation.
  6. Ok so Nate...you get (or seem too) what I'm trying to convey...maybe you can explain it differently to the beta team ?....I just wanted to know if this is how its supposed to work.

  8. sorry for taking so long...wild fires here in my place of residence. ok...my mistake in terminology, I mean the HDC...it will follow the track IR head movement if it detects any input from the slew axis that is mapped. meaning I can then turn my head to slew...and its wildly exaggerated. Seems to me that should not happen...track ir should have no affect. howerever if it does track the pilots line of sight then I guess that makes sense too...similar to the apache IHADS monocle.
  9. track ir is slaving to the tdc in the a10 c when using HMCS and when i press the slew it also follows my head tracking...should it be this way??? shouldn't it only follow my tdc input and not where i look?? as it is now my head movement is being in-puted which has consequences and can throw the targeting off by mistake.
  10. Also nvg model on helmut flashes in front of the players eye view when turning your head to look at stuff ...you see 2 big blue lenses flash in front of your face/line of sight. VERY annoying and immersion killing.It does not do this in single player

  12. Its the afgan mig-21 intercept for the F-4e in instant action...every time I fly this mission I get this error...any ideas?
  13. try this ...with AMD cards...If i have anti lag enabled in adrenaline software settings...I get stutter...when I disable it ,it's smooth as glass.
  14. I noticed this map tanks as well.... on a server while flying in an apache.... it dropped to 9 fps!!! at one point...I have a rysen 7600x amd cpu...32 gig of ram and a 12 gig amd video card. This map needs some attention.
  15. Seems erratic and fluttery...ball is jumping all over the place on cold war map...not behaving as it should IMO
  16. I can confirm the su-30 mod is causing this issue...not the A-4...FYI ...tried to play a mission with su-30 mod installed...no ground units spawned...took it out ....ground units spawned....put the su-30 back in....no ground units...A-4 was installed throughout this test.

Ok I think we are talking two different things here...not a fly over point,but a ranged tgt point....ie looking left out the cockpit window and marking a tgt point off in the distance via hmd...but I think were on the same page....i think the video meant to say store not update:.......i think.....
  18. Just to be clear...you're using the update store button? Or store button?
  19. I think what happened is the video got it wrong...as if i use the same method BUT simply use the store button it works...where as he states using the update button it only gives a fly over. It was the grim reapers tsd,nav,SA and targeting functions tutorial.
  20. can't create a target point when looking at an area i want to designate via hmd in cpg with the store update switch (auto ranging is on)...it will only create it as a flyover point directly underneath me.
  21. not to mention those that still haven't received their refunds yet for the F15e...its been over 2 weeks...
  22. If we go for a refund , can we repurchase the F-15E at the price we originally bought it ,if the module gets its proper support and a mutual resolution is arrived at?
  23. Does wind have an affect on accuracy...or does the system take that into account??
  24. Also the CAQ for plt and cpg are not displaying on tsd for BOTH to see on the map at same time
