  1. Looks awesome Beczl, great job
  2. Thanks Blaze, and to confirm no rudder pedal movement in FC2 on my model.
  3. Tyger, thanks for all of your time and effort making the DPE environment. It certainly is a joy to fly in and I'm looking forward to flying members of this great community.
  4. Thanks for the update buddy
  5. Starting to come along nicely :)
  6. Ah ok cool, thanks for the info.
  7. For me instead of nav light, I get a blinking square (like two planes) texture.
  8. Perfect Beczl, that fixed the problem for me. Edgepilot, select all objects in your model, click on the tools icon, more and select EDM tool, then click Make Cool and export.
  9. Along with the great comments from the guys here, here is a public video by 74th_Tyger which explains a good technique for landing, and pattern approach which we use in the 74th. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbMBBYCIqvQ&feature=player_embedded I have perfect touchdown's every time using these methods, obviously with adjustments for the loads and fuel I have. Even on crosswind, wet and snowy landings this technique works (just don't use the wheels brakes as much as they like to skid in the wet/ice lol) Hope it helps, C.
  10. Cool, many thanks
  11. Awesome, thanks LuckyBob. Can you please explain the differences in texture maps now compared to the LOM export tools using just Diffuse Colour. I.e. which ones should we use in material editor and any tips, like the amounts to set next to the texture (my default bump map is 30)? Basically what I'm asking is which maps can we now use with EDM export tools for DCS; Diffuse Color, Specular Color, Specular Level, Glossiness, Self Illumination, Opacity, Filter Color, Bump, Reflection, Refraction and Displacement. Many thanks, Ells.
  12. Sorry Crash, was out in real life tonight. It all depends in your graphic card and it's 3d settings in its control panel. Nice shot there Blaze :)
  13. Ok Dimebag, I'll load up my model tomorrow and see what I have set.
  14. Hmmm, I checked the arg on my Typhoon and the list from ED and have 266 for cockpit model. I didn't check external model arg.
  15. To my knowledge, products have been released when they are publically announced they would be. And certainly not 2 years on. It's not Microsoft we're talking about here ;)
  16. Don't apologise buddy, no harm done. I just wanted to clear the situation up. It will be released when it's ready to release :smilewink: Did that answer your question Agg lol 9 and a half months left, cool. I might actually learn to fly this thing properly in that time lol
  17. You need to seriously up your AA settings to get rid of those jaggered straight lines. Nice start to the pit.
  18. Just to clear up the pictures. The Virtual Red Arrows have nothing to do with DCS P-51 and have not 'checked it'. They are as eager to get their hands on it as you are. I just so happen to be with the Virtual Red Arrows and a video presentation was given to the Friends of TFC which had the VRA in it (which you neglected to post, as it has nothing to do with P-51's lol) Please don't associate the two without knowing the facts. Thanks, Ells. And a shameless plug for the Friends of TFC: http://fighter-collection.com/pages/tfc/friends/index.php
  19. Pedals are argument 266 in Max Depending on how you've set up your pedals model, use a rotation-based-argument as example. Pedals - Arg 266 - Range -1 ... 0 ... 1
  20. Sorry, Mustang can't take your call right now, last we heard from him was BOOOOM!!!
  21. Only if it then transforms into Starscream as well
  22. Hi Pete, Yep, that's where we are at at the moment. I have a fully working version with the default F-15 HUD and symbology, but no MFD's. I am currently working on integrating the MFD's into the model but having some scaling issues with the MFD and HUD alignment. Cheers, Chris.
  23. How about learning to do it the old fashioned way, navigate by the stars ;)
  24. It's an ok attempt, but to be honest you missed a lot of buttons in certain areas. Beaker is right, you need to build your own cockpit to remove all of those little poly's.
