There is also something wrong with the knobs for increasing/decreasing the ammo count. They don't seem to have any end positions and can be turned infinitly.

I'm using TrackIR5 and latest software as well. I own all modules except the Mi-8 but the Dora is the only module I get this in. To be honest I'm getting used to it. Just out of curiousity, why did the germans use this kind of optics? What are the benefits of having the sight off-centre?

Just played some multiplayer with a couple of friends. For some reason I couldn't rearm the Dora. Ground crew confirmed my request for both fuel and ammo but after 10+ minutes on the ground I had only received fuel. When I tried to taxi the standard message 'what are you doing?' was heard. I got no confirmation that refueling was complete either but I could tell from looking at the gauge that the tank was full. Anyone else experienced anything similar? EDIT: This is clearly a bug. As long as I don't ask for 100% fuel, rearming works fine. For some reason the ground crew can't fill up more than 98% fuel so if I ask for that amount the refueling never completes. And since refueling never completes the ground crew won't start the rearming process.

Remember when I played Aces of the Deep back in the days. After re-installing the game using german version the immersion was twice as good! I'm sure having german language would improve immersion in the Dora and upcoming Bf 109 as well.

Surely I can't be the only one finding the US accent of the pilot a bit too cheesy to fit this amazing german fighter? Would be cool to have a german ATC as well. Is there any way to mod this? Or is there a way to change the whole game to german language?

Could snapviews work for that maybe? I just find it a bit awkward not having the image centered when flying but perhaps that is just me feeling like that.

Can't I just move my head to get the same effect?

Is this a bug or a decision made by ED to make aiming easier? Feels a bit odd to be honest...

Is the chair/head placed off-center or am I having neck problems? When I re-center my TrackIR my head seems to be right of the cockpit center. Anyone else noticing this?

I blew up my engine yesterday. I don't recall hearing any weird noise prior to the engine giving up though.

I made the mistake of treating the Dora like the P-51 before kind people here on the forum helped me. Instead of going easy on the throttle I slam it open while I hold the stick back and slightly right of center. As speed increase I gently let the stick slide back to center but still slightly to the right until the plane lifts off by itself. Make sure you taxi forward on the runway a bit to make sure the tailwheel is straight before opening the throttle.

Check under 'Views' and then Cockpit Camera up and down parameters. I have mapped them to the arrowkeys on my keyboard.
