  1. Agreed. We might get a useful aircraft one day. https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/video-f-35-begins-raytheon-jsow-qualification-fligh-423782/ Looks a bit wobbly on the way out but safe enough.
  2. If you buy a 1151 motherboard you will only be able to use ddr4 as ddr3 will physically not fit, like trying to put a square peg in a round hole.
  3. It has worked for me in the past. I will check it out in 1.5 and 2.0 next time I get a chance.

I see the (day) light.... Thanks for the WIP shots, much appreciated.
  5. I just bought a 10cc tube from http://www.oveready.com/nyogel-lubricants/nyogel-767aa-lubricant-10cc-precision-plunger-/prod_421.html $13 US plus $14 to post to Australia, still expensive, but if it works as well as people say, it's worth it.
  6. With them just announcing the X-56 I thought they would have the drivers sorted by now.
  7. I definitely recommend getting the joystick off the desk, it doesn't take up much more room but is much more comfortable. A small table or box will do the job.
  8. No, you are not the fairest of them all. I assume it was the turn off and on again in options that fixed it?
  9. Yes warthog is great, if you can afford it, go for it. It doesn't need suction cups for the desk, it is so heavy it won't be moving in a hurry.
  10. There is one on it's way.
  11. I think that the light in the middle is a representation of the AI singularity and is alluding to the fact that ED has improved the AI to the point that dcs is about to become self aware. Soon the software will be so smart that it will be better at programming itself than humans, this can only lead to one thing....... War games anyone?
  12. I discovered the same thing when I got a warthog after years with the G940. My guess is it's the hysteresis, the x and y for the joystick still have 5% hysteresis (unless you have it modded). I modded with a bodnar board the throttle and rudder but thought the joystick was ok with only 5% hysteresis, until I got the warthog.
  13. Wow, they really botched that nose job. Great aircraft and would love to see a dcs version one day.
  14. In the quick start manual for each module there is deactivation instructions. Quick start is in the docs folder.
  15. Try registry fix from this thread... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=136153
  16. Thankfully these days aircraft are not designed on looks, but with computers and wind tunnels. It must have been a very big computer they did the F-35 with, that could work out the RCS calculations as well as the aerodynamics and have room for that big engine, internal weapons and lots of sensors. ;-)
  17. You may have to disable mirrors in options close dcs, restart dcs enable mirrors, restart and then try, it worked for me anyway.
  18. Have you tried turning it off and on again? http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/mar/08/radar-glitch-requires-f-35-fighter-jet-pilots-to-turn-it-off-and-on-again lol.
  19. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=161955 If you have an xbox control unplug it.
  20. Log in to your account in game then use the module manager for download, it's the button next to options up the top.
  21. In game, use the module manager, the square of boxes up the top (in 1.5, and 2.0).
