In options you can turn it off and in game you can toggle off/on (it's usually m by default). To fix the corruption turn off in options, leave game then turn it back on and it should work as designed.

So I guess firing over high voltage power lines is a no no. ;)

Yes, only version 2 of black shark is compatible with dcs world. I would recommend just buying the full version as the upgrade needs you to have version 1 installed.

My recommendation would be to overclock that 2600k and put in an gtx 1080 (ti if you can wait for it). It will be much cheaper and roughly equivalent performance. Although if you have money burning a hole in your pocket then the above system sounds OK if you can get the parts for discount price.

Why wouldn't the smoke trail be affected by wind? Once it has left the engine iit's part of the air mass which is the wind.
