That's funny, last few times I have made a purchase I got about 5 emails of confirmation from ED.

I have the Asus z170a and it does the job fine. I have taken the overclock up to 4.6 but use 4.4 for general use as the extra doesn't make that much difference except to the heat and power consumption. Unless there is a specific feature on the maximus you need it's not worth the extra pounds.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the more expensive motherboard (lots of features you will probably never use) and the 6600k will be as good as the 6700k if overclocked to 4.5. If you have a little time and intelligence it really is very easy to build and overclock yourself and I find it interesting and satisfying to know what goes on inside the magic box.

Either you or I have misunderstood op, I think he wants the c-130 to hold with engines running. As far as I know there isn't a way to do that. I think it would be a great feature to have.

It won't solve hysteresis as it won't work, as sokol said you need a joystick control board, not just a cable. The bodnar board works very well and solves hysteresis, which along with plenty of grease and removing the centre spring makes the g940 pedals usable, but still not great.

Having an experienced instructor giving real time feedback would make a huge difference to the speed of learning.
