This reaffirmed my belief that Frog drivers are worth the airspace. Just because nobody else will cover your ass once SAMs hit the fan. :D

If you could change Hyperlobby what would you add?
Stealth_HR replied to dodger42's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
What I'd like to see implemented the most would be a meinit.xml verifier - with a built-in database at the host. That way, vanilla Lock On/Cliffs (unmodified) would get marked as playing such, people playing with Shepski's mod would get their own room, and so would people playing the Navy Supermod. That way, you'd both eliminate cheaters and give people a chance to play modded, eliminating any possible conflicts. -
NATO Airbase Merzifon v1.00 third-party modification

Roger that, I'll investigate and let you know. -
NATO Airbase Merzifon v1.00 third-party modification

Does this mean a Navy Supermod11 as well? I know Merzifon AB is included in the pack - will we see a repatch? -
Wrong azimuth functions on rotaries. o_O

*yawn* Very true. Besides, the only slewing we need is the Shkval, the rest is just useless. :D -

Say WHAT? Then what the heck are the F-16, F-18 and F-35? :shocking: -

That's one thing that really surprises me - are that many people afraid of being shot down by a Kub or Shilka? Or are that many people afraid to go dogfight in a Frogfoot-T? :P Personally, I can't wait for the Ka-50, I've already studied the 25/25T extensively and know how to survive SAMs one way - I sure as heck won't mind another ground-pounder? -
As far as memory serves, there was an idea of creating a "skyhook" that'd enable the fleet to catch, rearm, refuel and relaunch a Harrier. Unfortunately, the project didn't go through.

Setting up ships for KH41 missle???
Stealth_HR replied to ScEBlack1's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
To be honest, I'm not sure - but you'd expect a high-profile target like a ship a Kh-41 would be wasted on would be an objective, right? -

Stealth_HR replied to ScEBlack1's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
What you forgot to do is a common mistake all mission-builders did in their youth. :P Here's the deal - once you place the Su-33 on the map, you have to assign an attack waypoint near the ship, switch to the Target editor and add the ship as a target. Furthermore, you need to go to the Objectives editor (last icon in the left toolbar, looks like a locked crosshair) and re-add the ship as a target - the last step makes sure you get a target diamond. Happy ASW. -

Very helpful and selfless - that's how a good online pilot acts! Reputation coming up your way. -
May it be worthy of its predecessor's name.

Feel like starting playing online??

Perhaps people really should get a stamp on their head saying "RTFM". Maybe that'd get the point across. I mean, how hard is it to remember to Shift-L, Alt-Home, Shift-Home? :pilotfly: I'm glad someone speaks for us Frog and Hog drivers. Of course we're not built to shoot down jets, but damn, some of us have itchy R-73 fingers. Giving a bit of IFF for us in unconventional ways isn't the worst crime in the world. ;) -
If that sped happens to be Mach 1, it's quite normal.

Wow. I didn't think that was possible at all. Great work, Renato! Glad to see another croatian member on board, as well. :) I'm aware of the croatian codepage problems in LockOn - doesn't even allow me to spell my name in the Mission Editor, so I'm glad you contacted them as well. Maybe us croatians should group together and badger ED about it as a whole. ;) Edit: Okay, I misread the post, time to reformulate this paragraph. Since you've been going from russian to english, I was wondering if you could give me a hint on going the other way around - to be precise, I have been planning to "translate" the MEinit.xml file to russian so the airplane designations and names would be in cyrillic (i.e. Су-27 Журавлик). What format are the files you edited in? Unicode, UTF-8? If you could tell me that, and post a copy of your original MEinit, I could compare it with my english version of it and see just what you'd need changed in order to get planes and weapons in latinic.

They all look great - especially the ground camo, love the pattern.

CS videos aren't as funny if they're filmed in CS itself. Here are two perfect examples on how to do it (to be watched in sequence): McDiddy's McDiddy's 2

Navy Supermod available for download!

I believe that - but in this case, it's white as in untextured. I hoped I'd at least see panel joints and rivets... :P -

Stealth_HR replied to britgliderpilot's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
The mod's given me many hours of amusement over the extended-pylon MiG-29K and the F-111F. I hope that if any more breakthroughs in modding are created, they'll get merged with this mod, cause it keeps growing bigger and better with each iteration. Speaking of which - any chance of a better F-111F skin? Unless something's screwy with my installer, the bottom side is as blank as a paper sheet. -
I want one of those. Hmmm... X2 and X3 profiles. If I had the cash for a touchscreen, I'd make those. Great idea, excellent implementation. I hope the project won't die before I get my own LCD touchscreen. :D
