  1. Aye on the Valkyrie, but YE GODS NAY on the flying dorito.
  2. Don't know about that incident, but I found this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-11_Tiger Silly, no? :music_whistling:
  3. Pfft. A2Aer. :P Refer to sig for reasons.
  4. :megalol: Ah, the good old times.
  5. What the heck is a captive missile?
  6. I and J being IAF/DF and JASDF variants, respectively? I doubt any other export versions (like the K model) have that bump either - if memory serves, a couple of pages back someone mentioned it as a GPS antenna.
  7. What can I say, I'm a simple man. A flight-sim with just Hogs and Frogs would suit me fine.
  8. Here's why I voted for it: the F-16 versus MiG-29 (say, B or C) seems a natural choice since they're both melee fighters and excel in turn fights, and they can both carry A2G payloads if neccessary. On the other hand, the MiG-29K has different enough standards to warrant a different flight model and a different weapons model (due to A2Sh weaponry), and again, it shares carrier-launch capability with the F-18, making for a broadened in-game arena, not to mention the F-18 does, like the F-16, act better in the close-combat arena.
  9. Awesome photos there. Glad to see the airforce in the theatre is restabilizing, and hope it won't incite yet another Balkan War. Now if we could just persuade the HRZ to drop the F-16s... Back on the MiG-21 topic, I know it's been said dozen of times, but I feel like chipping in with a "hell yeah" for the Fishbed. It's definitely the most produced airplane in the world, still operational in most countries that purchased them - which definitely applies for the whole Black Sea theater - from Bulgaria and Romania to Ukraine and Russia - and they're still in active service, with upgrades coming along. Even if we get "just the F-13", as someone before already noted, the models are now known for being swappable, and so are weapons - hopefully this will carry on into BS as well, but time will tell that. StrikeMax - I can't help out with the model, but you can count on me being a happy camper once your model passes Chizh's watchful eye. Even right now, it looks good enough for me to wolf-whistle and yell "Hello, Fishbed!" Can't wait for the final product.
  10. It's true, the Su-25 data would be very handy. One very unfortunate fact about the Su-25T is that its engines are, in fact, underpowered - that's why the cornering speed is probably shot to hell along with the rest of the flight characteristics. It's still the best plane I've flown in LO just by the "gut feeling" of it, but I wouldn't be too surprised if the Su-25T's cornering speed turned out to be very low, precisely due to the engine output.
  11. Yes please. I'd love to see a J-22 around. :D
  12. :megalol: That was a nice flashback to the DOS past. I think you meant config.cfg by that.
  13. The Devil went to Jamaica, he was looking to sell some weed...
  14. Looks like that guy you quoted's afraid of getting owned. Shame you can't force people into game duels, he should be shot down in Lock On. Preferably, with a Frogfoot, just to add insult to injury. :D
  15. All I can ask is: can we get the skin, please? The green camo looks brilliant!
  16. HEY! Who stole the wheels on that thing? :megalol:
  17. Whoops, my mistake, should've read the old thread more thoroughly. I apologize.
  18. Awesome. Downloading.
  19. Wait... are these the ones you and STAR_80 were working on?
  20. One of the most beautiful cargo transports ever, bar none. The VM-T Atlant comes in a close second for me, but this takes the cake and the candles.
  21. True, true. My mistake. :music_whistling:
  22. Looks like the F-18E isn't as much of a disappointment its initial version, the F-18A was. Glad to see the engineering time paying off like this.
