  1. Yeh :( We have tried doing it on the fly so to speak but there really isnt any more we can do without taking the whole network offline. We thought it was best to take off during some week days then over a weekend when people want to fly Add on top of that we also have to work our day jobs so its only something we can work on in our spare time Not an easy decision but there isnt alot we can do about it, As Rock says victims of our own success, but have no fear when its back it will be better then ever :) Pman
  2. Thats a fair point, Practicality has to come into it when you have a house the size of a tin can though :p That said if there was an option of a floor mount or nothing I couldnt rule it out providing that storage was an option. Food for thought :) Pman
  3. I would be very interested in a desktop version rather then just a floor mounted one as I dont have space for a permant pit. Just to give you a ball park my price point for this kind of thing would be £250-300 (up to say $500) anything beyond that and it starts going above me. No expectations but thought it was good to give you an idea when you say about costs being prohibitive. Your right this is the wrong place to ask
  4. With Rock on this one
  5. Had the same thing on the VA server, we shortened the mission restart and it solved it
  6. Nice screenshots mate :) Was a good flight, even if you got a little nervous ;)
  7. I keep the cooling open until I am leveling out the trim after take off, Take off settings for the mustang really depend on weight of the aircraft, If fully loaded I use 3000RPM, 45" of manifold pressure and combat flaps, anything less and I do the same with no flaps. If I am on a clean aircraft with only 50% or so fuel then I will take off at 2700RPM 45" of manifold pressure. If you have a clean aircraft you can have a very very smooth take off with cruise settings, 2400RPM and 35" of pressure. During flight if I am doing aerobatics and fast maneuvers then I keep a steady 2700RPM and 45" of pressure which is considered "Max continuous" However if I am transitioning to another airfield then I go to the standard cruise of 2400RPM and 35" of pressure. After takeoff I reduce the RPM to my desired setting within 20-30 seconds of being airborne and close the cooling at the same time. Hope that helps
  8. Evil can you let me know when the files have been hosted? I still have them on my dedicated server so I can remove them. Dont want to remove them while people need them, Currently uploaded almost 44gb of files :D
  9. Great Screenshots there mate! Was some great flying happening this weekend, I know I can speak for Rock in saying that we are both so happy with the reception our server has had from community and we look forward to many more mad formations! Pman
  10. RPM should not be run over 2700 for continuous flight with the manifold at 45" Cruise is 2400RPM and 35"
  11. Your welcome :)
  12. currently uploaded over 35gb of these files, these are sure popular lol
  13. Since I put it on the server under an hour ago I have uploaded over 4gb of data, so 13 times the total file size lol I will keep it on there for abit until ED host it Pman
  14. I fly it alot and havent noticed any change since 1.2.4 came out
  15. Its because of the prop at the front guys, Simple as that. Because of the prop effect that game is having to render more detail
  16. I've put it on my dedicated server to seed for a while Pman
  17. I understand your desire to have a community of pilots, its just a shame that I dont speak Italian as it looks like you guys have done some great work but google translate just wont work Fly safe
  18. The server is alot more stable then it has been Our server peaked at 30 pilots last night and it was fine, other times it can have 2 people on it and the dcs.exe will lock up no tracks as its an alt F4 job
  19. There are 2 more in the works ;)

    Israeli Server

ah ok, Well must be something local as when I did they spawned ok :)
  21. We experimented with some clouds on the server and a number of people said that they suffered with some FPS drop with them and it was unplayable with so many aircraft in the area. We had to make the decision to leave the server to be a day and clear weather mission so that as many people can fly as possible. Where we can we want every one who wants to be involved to be able to fly with us and have a good time learning and spending time with the other pilots Pikey, Glad that you like the server, we are so very pleased that people are enjoying coming to fly with us :) See you in the skies Pman
  22. Hi Guys, Glad that you are enjoying the server! I hear there are currently 19 on the server as I type :) Its a sunny day over Sochi and the sound of Hueys and Sukhois is deafening! Gudata is subject to Mustangs beating up the strip and everyone is having a good time :) We are working on a competition to give away some T shirts and a few other bits and bobs (VA branded of course!) So keep an eye on our face book page and forums for details! Pman

What problems are you having with the FARP as I had them with Hueys for our server, sadly they seem to effect some people FPS so I had to remove them but they worked ok while they were there
