  1. Sometimes I take off and follow the roads to kill the civilian traffic, as practice of course :D
  2. I bet your problem is with the collective. Keep in mind that your engines are turbines, which bear a lag in the power output.
  3. I think MT (to take advantage of MC) can be programmed... from scratch. So it is not a feasible option for ED since their advantage is the engine they already have. However it is a smart move if they can spare resources for engine R&D. The engine should be event driven, with synchronization points. Since graphical programming relies on one fact, the frame displayed, it is a good point to use it for that purpose, as I think it is being used today in ST. However, I do not try to tell ED how to do its work. Just a bit of smart thinking :D
  4. Thanks Alpha :)
  5. I tested it at -50 ºC and the gearbox takes a loooong time to warm. Any indications about the procedure at that temperature? What about the throttle levers?
  6. Give me an old De La Cierva's autogyro and a couple of hand grenades and I will destroy those pesky targets :D
  7. 3.1) The altimeter should be set to Barometer (not Radar) in order to keep the same Barometric altitude. Just my 0,02 €
  8. Oh Yeah :D
  9. If you try to land on a steep slope, or if you are moving sideways, yes, you tip over. But it is possible to land outside the airports, I have done it multiple times.
  10. Christmas...
  11. Anyone disabled HT in BIOS (I mean, you see only 4 cores in task manager) and saw performance improvement? If so, how much? P.S.: in i7
  12. Do not try to land with AH on, it will switch off all AP channels below 10m IIRC.
  13. Well, I have recently changed my X52 profile to use the pinkie switch for trim instead of C button and it is now more flyable. It halves the functions I can use in each mode, but the thumb is now gripping the stick while trimming instead of pressing a button, and it gives me the edge over the aircraft so it is worth the loss of functions. Ergo...nomics rule :joystick: As for whether it is Kamov's or ED's fault, if any, I do not know and I think I will not ever :D
  14. I hace updates my X52 blackshark profiles to 1.4 (with pinkie) and 1.5 (w/o pinkie i.e. pinkie = trigger). http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=748120&postcount=6
  15. It is not so difficult :D
  16. ADD: I suffered often when my boss lectured to me :D
  17. I have a macro bound to button B+pinkie that disengages all channels and engages the attitude ones. There is nothing better for a panic moment than a panic button.
  18. Well, I accept that since there is no tilt for rocket launchers IRL, it is not modeled in game. But there are helicopters, like the Apache, that have such device, so I think it is useful and has some advantages. I do not see why there is interest in negating that fact.
  19. Yeah, so while you are fliying sideways to avoid them, it is easier to keep your nose pointing to the target and the pipper on target adjusting yaw, while the tilt mechanism takes care of the needed "pitch" angle for the rocket launcher :D
  20. It eliminates the need for attack run to fire the rockets. Just wait for the order and fire. Timing is easier in coordinated attacks. Anyway, tilting makes firing easier; it is always simpler to control one dimension than two.
  21. They will not hover, so do not bother sending them anywhere to do that.
  22. So we will know soon which is best in 1 vs. 1 :D
  23. It is a three positions switch. Click on it with left mouse button (or twice with right m.b.) and wait about 5 seconds for the lamp to spread. Be aware that at noon you will not see the light, try by night.
  24. Just a joke, I like USA ;)
