If I may make a suggestion, please read "Stick and Rudder" by Wolfgang Langeweische. He explains very well on how to fly prop powered tail draggers and to debunk some of the myths as well as as pointing out and correcting common mistakes of flying.

Probably not a day one purchase but if it was a steep discount I would consider it.

Ah thanks for the input. I forgot about the war birds. I do enjoy the p-51 but I don't do any pvp with it as of yet. Need to get around to the 190 and 109. Good point. I suppose it's like the x-52 where I was okay with that but once I got the TM Warthog I wondered how I ever survived without it. These might be a Christmas present I guess. [emoji6]

I've been eyeing these for a long time but I just can't see how they are that much of an improvement over my Saiteck Pro Flight pedals. Especially since I fly the A-10C most of the time. I do enjoy some Huey flying here and there, but I can get by with the Saiteck pedals seemingly well enough. Does anybody that own the MFGs think it's still worth the cost to buy these for somebody in my position?

Except that it is crucial to use proper terms when discussing anything aircraft related. It's far too easy to mix something up and make mistakes. From where I'm sitting it looks like it was polite and you're coming off as defensive and rude. As for the OP, here's my 2 cents. Don't focus too hard on tactics. Learn how to use the radar and RWR. Don't fly in a straight line towards an enemy, stay at an angle like some others have said. Pulse your radar just long enough to build some situational awareness so that you don't give off your position to your enemy's RWR. Use the mountains to your advantage. They can be great for ambushing an enemy. Just fly and watch others and the rest will come. Don't worry about getting shot down, every does.

Nothing yet. MiG-21 is the closest we have and that should be released soon. Other than that keep your eyes open on some 3rd party developers. I've lost track of all the various modules and their release dates. Other than that the F/A-18C should be coming too. No word on when.

We do? I don't recall the A-10 ever attacking tanks in the Black Sea area. Or F-15s taking on Flankers. WW11 guys have fighters from the same era that actually fought against each other to go fight with.

Well I checked it and it does show up as a U for unknown like Flagrum said. So it is currently not working.

Now that the MiG-21 is in the hands of some people, I have a quick question. Will the 21's radar show up on other other aircraft's RWR?

At least you guys can drop bombs. Where's my AGM-88 and AGM-84 for the Hornet? Not that I'm complaining about the lack of a Hornet or seeing WWII modules out before then. I have the P-51 and Bf-109 preorder. Will probably buy the P-47 when it's released too. I just like all aircraft.

I have a crazy idea. Lets enjoy what ED can afford to release based on whatever resources they have instead of complaining about why we don't have X feature or Y airplane or Z update. I dare say that every single person that plays has their own wishlist of features that they would like to be added and it's likely that most of these are on their to-do list but they have decided on more important things to be done first. ED has the ultimate decision to choose what is most important to add or fix. Wanting something is fine, but complaining about why your personal wishlist didn't take top priority is not okay.

I say get all the old war birds out of the way early. Gives ED more resources to play with after they sell those modules and earn some relatively easier profits.* Then they have more time to work on later fighters. *I'm only speculating on the profits.

It's a known bug. Only F-16s and that's not a canopy.

I use a modded F-15 payload to shoot Phoenix missiles. But I have gotten a slammer over 300k feet before it vanished.
