If you can't beat them join them... I would give up 2 of the 6 flyables, 262 doesn't interest me, I already purchased the p-51 before the kickstarter and all rewards just for the SDK, which would cost ED nothing really. Don't even want alpha/beta whatever

What's not true? Folk wont feel pressurized into giving up their rewards?

This is what I'm afraid of. Imagine someone who gets access in a few days and finds this thread full of these kinds of posts. They're going to feel pressurized into giving up something that they want and have spent that extra bit of their money on. What's a poll going to achieve? "sorry the majority of folk have decided you're not going to get what you paid for"?

It may not be decided in a day, but some folk still don't have access and its been what 3 months since the backer section opened?

I really think this sort of thing needs to be discussed when everybody who has backed this project gets access to the backers forum. Although I'm sure most would forgo their physical rewards It would only be decent and fair to include those folk in any discussion on the subject. or have it in a forum that isn't locked to them

I don't want to throw water on this love in but SiTH knows as much as the rest of us. I don't think he's told anymore than the rest of us. I recall in another thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=123538&page=12 SiTH assuring us "work continues, even if communication is less than advertised." Which it appears wasn't true. There were a lot of promises on the kickstarter including expanding to the Korean War which I don't think is in EDs timetable. I'm guessing beyond the map in 2015 there will be no more input from ED regarding the original Kickstarter. That is not EDs fault, fair play and kudos to them for picking this fiasco up but there are other things beyond the map and aircraft mentioned in the OP that were the reason some folk pledged money. I eagerly await news from the internal meeting

The only real question I have is "will the sdk still be available? As i recall only RRG mentioned releasing the map making SDK to the community

You're right, it's not me vs you sorry. I just find it hard to believe that some folks can tell/ask others to calm down/chill out when folk are obviously worried about their investment. We all want this to succeed but 7 weeks without any word form the developer, who's been seen on the forums. Who's obviously been reading folks concerns and has brushed them aside. It's kind of a slap/spit in the face of the folk who had trust in him don't you think. People are angry at ilya

Yes keep quiet and hope for the best. Let's hope that Ilya not keeping his word about the updates is the only thing he's not going to keep his word on. There's a 109, a p-47, a spitfire and a 262 that are not bound by any ED NDA. With the lack of updates it appears to myself and many others that work has ground to a halt on this project. Communication is the key. If the promised regular updates do not materialize, come September I personally will be asking for my money back and I don't think I'll be alone there. I'm well aware that the project will not be released in September but I expect regular updated. I expect value for my money. I work hard for my money and I expect those folk who I chose to give my hard earned money to, to fulfill their promises. I am not seeing that at the moment. In fact I'm seeing nothing. If you've given money to this project and are happy to sit and wait in good faith while terms of the kickstarter are broken and are confident that things will be all right in the end. Good for you. If you're happy to give money away on faith you'll end up poor. I have an email in my spam folder from some guy in Africa looking for money. I'm too cynical to believe it. Maybe you'd like to give him your money. Let me know i'll forward you the email.

The only whingeing I'm seeing is you whingeing about folk expressing their concerns about a project they backed with their hard earned cash. Cash spent on a project whose goals were set out on the kickstarter campaign page and have not come to pass. A project founded by a man who was very active when asking for money and then very inactive when the money arrived. There has been no word for 6 weeks. I don't buy the EDGE integration argument. All the other modules are working while EDGE is in development. What makes the DCSWW2 modules any different? No screenshots, no words, nothing for 6 weeks. Nothing for the folk who backed the guy to the tune of 150k. Some folk raised concerns about the guys past record and yet still backed him this time around. What do they get in return? "wait and see" Folks faith in the man is at breaking point and he doesn't care. That's the way i'm seeing it.
