  1. First of all, I wanna say that the dispersion improvements are greatly welcomed and it is definitely better, but I believe the bigger problem with the cannon on Hornet has been the damage of its munition. I know they are only HE, which is a shame, compared to the available options on other aircraft, but.... surely the M61 munition is not weaker than the one of a Huey's Minigun ? The Hornet cannot (well, one out of 10 runs I was able to) do damage to, for example, an SA-6 LN, SA-11 LN or a BTR-80, but at the same time those same unarmored vehicles can be destroyed with 7.62 from the mini guns, which is realistic as they are not armored with exception to the BTR, which can withstand that frontally, but cannot to the sides, unless at extreme ranges. Below I have attached a track showing off multiple gun runs, with a dive angle between 30 and 40 degrees with no success and then hoping in a huey and destroying the targets. I later added a BTR as well to try it, didn't save the track tho. Hornet 20MM Damage.trk
  2. Bump! Track Replay is a bit offset when you viewing, but just F7 to the launcher !
  3. post a track
  4. Sooo, I got this (the picture attached) when I tried to play the Instant Action Mission for the Hornet: Free Flight (PG) I flew another Instant Action before that: A-10 Target Practice in NTTR and it didn't have this issue. Also in the Hornet mission is spawned me in a different than usual place, way down south by Abu Dhabi, instead of Dubai
  5. Same here, I second that.... I am trying to attract more people to CA as it has a lot of potential, especially in dynamic missions, which is a project I am working on....
  6. Just shoot the MiG at its core, if you hit the wings, especially the roots ,it will just produce sparks. One good burst in the middle of the MiG and all its fuel is gone :), plus the tail is also a good hit... Just stay away from the wings ! Oh and this works both ways, the MiG cannons have lost effectiveness over time... some sabres can just tank 23mm as if it is nothing, at least the 37 still kills them most times. Don't even get me started on AI aircraft and the MiG's cannons, especially helicopters..... so infuriating
  7. I am guessing because he hadn't have bleed air on ?
  8. well, recreate the issue in singleplayer, save the track and post it as a bug report
  9. nJfthkua_Gs From the previous event !
  10. Fixed, wish my event had so much interest in it
  11. I will be running a little bit late, sorry about that !
  12. Oh boy... FINALLY ! Sign me up as a Bradley ! Username: Shadow
  13. As the tittle stays, this little tin can, made out of sheet metal is invulnerable to the huey's miniguns and mk151 rockets... The debrief doesn't even say you've hit him. Only the MK5 rockets work. Chaparral Minigun-MK151.trk
  14. Upload a track so we can see what you are doing. End your flight, save the track, upload it here
  15. Ughm.... I wanted to make a video demonstrating the trick, but it seems like I didn't have to do it ? They removed the chocks right away ? The RPM bug is still a thing, but.... yeah, seems to be working, at least on the instant action mission "Cold Start" on Caucasus
  16. When switching states on an SA-11 unit, if you don't wait for its transformation to complete, it will bug and it will look like it is in a red state, but it won't engage nor it will be able to get into travel mode (Green state). Pretty easy to bug and have a whole useless SA-11 site SA-11 State Bug.trk
  17. As the tittle says... aero and motor sounds are missing SA-11 9M38M1 Buk-M1 Sounds Missing.trk
  18. I do believe they actually posses that ... maybe we are speaking about different thing, but from what I've seen, when a missile does this it takes the last data it had for its targets and if that was the beginning of a very sharp turn for example, it just extrapolates it and keep going as if the target has continued with that sharp turn or angular velocity or something like that, but obviously the target did not, so what we see happens
  19. When using CBUs like the CBU-105 (which is only CCRP), instead of compensating for the wind, the CBU would fly and deploy above the SPI, instead of a location which should compensate for wind. As long as the LASTE system has the needed wind data, using CBU-87s and 97s with CCRP will result in the expected behavior, i.e... the CBU will fly in a location into the wind, so when it deploys, the parachute cartridges will be blown right on target. Meanwhile the wind corrected munition will not do that and act as if you dropped a non WCMD munition without wind data. This makes the CBU-105 useless in wind conditions, where it should be better. I dive down so the LASTE can enter wind data for all altitudes. You can see that the CCRP solution does give a lead into the wind when releasing, but on release, the WCMD munition immediately steers its self towards the SPI CBU-97 CCIP.trk CBU-97 CCRP.trk CBU-105 CCRP.trk
  20. A-10, F-15, F-16, UH-1H all have ILS capabilities. The F/A-18C has the ICLS (carrier based ILS). The russian jets from the Flaming Cliffs pack as well as the MiG-21 also have the russian version of ILS. I might be missing some, but yeah... most aircraft do have that ability
