  2. The Hornet gun has a tracers and no-tracers option as well
  3. Most often than not, it will damage the radar enough, that it will no longer be able to operate.... even being at 50% will disable a radar.
  4. Lets not mix a questions and discussion with wanting to change something, because it is hard to do ! I want to make this clear, all I want to know if this is intentional or not and it to be as realistic as possible. From what I heard, the main reason there are even IR Mavericks is for fast attack boats defense of the carrier. So, there are other weapons to take on such ships. Maverick boresight has to be done, because the seeker can break if it hits its limitation really fast, as when executing a sharp manuever.

  6. Yes, you can manually steer it after WPDSGN and give new designations, but then undesignate has the same function as caging it... which makes no sense, why would it be that way .... If you manually slew the TGP to somewhere, designate and then undesignate.... TPOD doesn't cage, it keeps looking at where you were looking, which does make sense Why would it act in to completely different manners ?

Following from the other report, where client applying restrictions is not synced, between host and client, whenever a client applies such (they will not work), but they will desync units for him. For example on his screen he will not see a SAM launcher tracking a target and the missile will do an offset launch, where as on the host, the launcher will be tracking and shooting as intended.   10. What is Shadow's Dynamic War Proejct ?: - The end goal is to create something which gives fulfillment to the player, a cause ! Everything counts and team play is the only key to victory. That's why these mission will be event type, with sign-ups and specific play times. Expect having to deal with and manage realistic factors like limited amount of airframes, resources, long turn-over times and dynamic ground war. Forget the air quake, the ground war is what matters ! Heavy use of Combined Arms will be needed. A well organised team will be structured with dedicated Commanders, Controllers, ATC and Pilots. Hopefully, I am not alone with my vision of what MP should look like in DCS. Hope you enjoy ! What is Siege of Zugdidi ?: - “Siege of Zugdidi” is the second big step in the development of the Dynamic War Project. The mission is a small to medium scale, player versus player, attacker/defender scenario. What is the Scenario ?: - After the Georgina conflicts (circa 91-93) and the separation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the tension between the different states has been high. Russia siding with and backing up Abkhazia and South Ossetia lead to the acceptance of Georgia in NATO. Ever since that happened, coalition forces have been conducting exercises with the Georgian military, as well as provided Air Policing for them. Currently the US has stationed four US MC F/A-18C Hornets, as well as two USAFE A-10Cs at Vaziani. Two French Army’s SA-345Ms are stationed at Sukhumi. A small platoon of M1A2s and M2A2 are also present, training with the Georgian Army’s forces. Tensions have suddenly escalated massively as Abkhazian forces have been spotted, massing on the Abkhazian-Georgian border. Small group of all Russian vehicles have been noticed between them as well. Additionally, Su-27s (J-11 in for Su-27SMs) and Su-30s (JF-17 in for Su-30s) have been detected on approach for Gudauta. Intelligence has indicated that Ka-50s have been seen landing at Sukhumi. The NATO forces have started planning a defense, worried about a possible, upcoming attack. When will it happen ?: - For now, the planned date is 9th of the May @ 1700Z, but it is a subject to change, depending on the availability of people.   11. That would have been an advantage, if it didn't boresight, this mean you have to point your aircraft directly at what you are shooting at exposing you to risk
  12. Power lines and power line poles have a heat signature and can be locked on to with the TGP and Maverick. Can something be done about this ? In most cases, some of these objects are not even rendered on the TGP/Maverick (like the lines at all, and the poles only under a certain range), but can still be locked on to. Makes hitting targets which are on roads, pretty hard. I am sure this is the case not only with poles and wires, but lamps and trees as well. Power Lines F-18 TGP .trk
  13. When you fire a Maverick, the next Maverick is bore sighted. Is this intentional ? On the A-10, I know different platform, ect.... when you fire a Maverick, the next one is slewed to where, you fired your previous one.
  14. I have a question. Should the TGP return to boresight, after you have WPDSG-ted it to a WP and the undesignated ? It seems counter productive. What if you are target is not directly on the WP ? How are you going to designate two TOO, if you cannot undesignate ? Well you can, but then you have to guess where the TGP is looking and manually find your target... good luck with that. How come it doesn't return to boresight, when you have manually slewed it somewhere and then designated and undesignated ? There is a dedicated CAGE function, why would this do absolutely the same ?
  15. Do you mean giving them WP with Combined Arms or the ME set waypoints ?
  16. Are they of any value ? I can pretty much place a unit anywhere on a map and it will bug out, meaning I can supply dozens of tracks
  17. The group restrictions (Radar ON/OFF) are not synced between clients, or at least between host and other clients on the server. Not sure how to report this one, so the issue can be shown ? Should I drop a track or a video from both sides ?
  18. With the latest Open Beta (as of 19.4.2020) all path finding for AI units has been behaving weird. There were already couple of threads started, but I haven't seen an official report one, with a track, so ... here is exactly that. AI Path Finding.trk
  19. You do realize, even tho, they do test. A couple of people can't check everything. Besides, most of the testing is supposed to be done by you and me... the OPEN BETA users. So, check yourself.
  20. Or decrease/fix the armor values of vehicles. Some of these older models and vehicles are pretty busted. The saving grace is that even at half health, that radar is no longer working. I would say the damage for this radar is somewhat alright.

  22. Huh, interesting... did the MiG-15 not require a GPU to start in the past ? It definitely needs one now, unless I am doing something wrong.
  23. I've posted a track. If the group is set to any other formation, which is not trail, their MAX speed is 20 knots ! No, not waiting, no different vehicles, no slopes or different terrain... Maximum speed in the formation is limited to 20 knots.
