  1. you can buy upgraded slew sensors that basically changes the crappy one TM included in the warthog with a PS3 analogue stick
  2. It's 2020, checking to see if this has been fixed yet. Been 2 years come on guys.
  3. I have this issue with my CH fighterstick. For some reason DCS doesn't pick up the pickle press every time. So I just switched it out to the trigger and it works perfectly now.
  4. Just wanted to report I am still getting this issue. CTD shortly after firing engine up in MP. Unplayable right now...
  5. Oh boy! flying an f-5 II would be sick!
  6. aka instant "Buy Now to Continue" click
  7. I just came here for the 53 pages of "take my money!" meme
  8. Like a physical stitched patch you could put on a jacket or something. Would be cheap if they got a bulk order say 3 color max
  9. Cobra, the manual would be awesome. But how bout patches for backers. It would be so cool if all the 3rd parties got together and made their own. It'd be fun to collect the different patches from the modules you buy.
  10. the RIO totally needs a stick. Somebody has to fly the damn thing when I'm grabbing a beer!
  11. I'm hoping it's an F-16 but who knows.
  12. Has anyone modded their Warthog yet? I was thinking the first thing I would change is the microstick. give it stronger springs and put a convex disk on top of it to give a more tactile feel. Any thoughts on this?
  13. I used voice buddy with il2 a while ago. it is neat but it does not work with ts3 so it is useless in multiplayer
  14. I came across this interesting image in the manual today It appears that the bullseye is referenced in the top right corner of the HUD. I've never noticed this and on a couple other screenshots, the bullseye is not showing. Is this something related to JTAC / SPI location? Of is this the position of my aircraft relative to the bulls? I am guessing it is the SPI judging by the tadpole's tail but I'm unsure. Anyways, how the heck do I turn this on?
  15. can anyone clarify that we are getting the F-15C and not the F-15E? I was under the impression RAZBAM or iris were developing this module and I didn't see a charlie under their forum.
  16. Thanks, Viper. back to hoggin for me then.
  17. AIM120C Range So I'm kind of new to the FC series and haven't done more than mess around with old lomac back in the day. The only air to air I've done so far is in falcon 4.0 so the slammers in this game are a bit of a mystery to me. It seems that the AIM120C only goes about 3 nautical miles before it loses its thrust and then does a nose dive towards the ground. In my previous experience, I could hit targets aproximately 20nm out provided they didn't take evasive. Has this weapon been nerfed in this game? I seem to only be able to get hits on it within visual range! In fact, it seems the AIM7 has better range than my AIM120's. Any thoughts?
  18. I'll try and give you my best advice. I learned to land jets in Falcon 4.0 and it carried over well into DCS and FC3. IDK if this terminology is right but look at symbol "M" in the following picture. the "Total Velocity Vector indicator." http://wiki.flightgear.org/File:A-10-hud-symbology.jpg I'm going to call that a tadpole, probably incorrectly but whatever. Anyways, when you are on final, the idea is that you place your "tadpole" on the runway where you want to land. Preferably on the black tire marks on the end of the runway. Control your tadpole with your throttle and rudders ONLY! If you try and move it around with your pitch, you are gonna have a bad time. Now, you're on final approach, got your tadpole all lined up. Put your flaps down and gear and guide her in. I try to land at around 160 knots and find that speedbrakes help greately when landing. Don't be afraid to throttle up as you come in for landing to even out your pitch. Practice this a few times and you'll be sticking landings in no time.
