You actually opened my eyes a little with this post and made me realise that, indeed, I would rather fly the A-10C in a better engine, and new maps, than have the F-18C in DCS Worlds current state. I'm REALLY looking forward to the F-18C, but it can wait if it means a much better experience in my opinion. Good post!

I'm actually getting more and more excited about the F-35A. I don't think that it will be popular in A2A combat online, but as thousands of posters have already said; It's up to the mission designer. It will be a blast to use it together with a tight squad though! :)

I think that I'm doing pretty fine with just a stick-twist joystick, but maybe I just don't know what I'm missing out on.

Every individual module has it's own chat key that you have to bind. I think the "General" in the options is for when you are a spectator.

Have you unbound "Gun trigger" from your space key? Try pressing your gun trigger on the joystick. It works for me.

Well, I was thinking that most zombies would have trouble with breaking into some of the aircraft. Like the A-10, they won't even reach up to you, let alone break the canopy. Then again, as mentioned, it depends on the kind of zombie we're talking about :)

This is what I keep thinking about every clickable DCS module: "If there were a zombie apocalypse and I somehow managed to find an abandoned military base with a prepped A-10C/UH-1H/KA-50, would I be able to use it?" This is also why I always, when first playing a module, try to start it up completely without help or manual :D

So, does anyone know how the stealth works? Even if you don't detect a F-35 on your radar, will you still get RWR-spikes from its own radar, along with missile launch warnings and so on? The AMRAAMS they fire are still normal non-stealth missiles right? Just wondering how effective this stealth would be in DCS :D -- At first when I heard the news yesterday, I was kind of sceptic if I would like to fly it or not. But after thinking about it for a while, I'm super excited for it! Bring this module on!

After the E4 multiplayer reveal, Battlefield 4 looks like what Battlefield 3 should have been. Might be fun to play actually.

I agree! This would also increase the "cozy" factor when you're simply flying in a rainy weather. Speaking of bad weather; do anyone knows what happens if a jet is struck by lightning? Is it affected at all?

They're probably under a NDA from ED, so they can't talk about it. Not their fault. Why is it a secret? I have no idea. My guess is that, after multiseat in the Huey is released, we'll get some info.

I bought KA-50 (1) and A-10C at the same time, but I mostly played A-10C, so I voted that.

As a FC3 owner, I'd be okay with paying ~12 Euro / ~15 USD for one of them, and maybe a bundle with both of them for ~20 Euro / ~25 USD if they are released around the same time. I'm not "demanding" anything to be a certain price though :)

Speaking of filming things for machinima purposes. Is it possible to fly inside the cockpit, yet hide the cockpit to give you a nice way to use a TrackIR to aim your camera, without having to worry about the cockpit blocking your view?

If you're flying a 6 DoF cockpit, you can use the key-command RCTRL + RSHIFT + / (Or RCTRL + RSHIFT + - ). At least something like that. I don't recall the exact keycommand.
