Agreed, I have two computers and two rifts. Launched DCS in 4K and hated it, just doesn't get close enough to real flying as the Rift does. Give it 2 years and it will be even better. Give it 5 years and we will hopefully have 4K or better

Thank you Frusheen and Skatez, a bit of playing around to get it to work. Uninstalled sensor, drivers and oculus. Reinstalled and still no go. Unplugged USB and into a different port and presto, working again. Strange behavior after 1.8 update. Appreciate your guidance.

Anyone else having issues with 6dof not working after recent oculus update? Every aircraft affected, rift works, can turn head but not move around.

Hi Guys, anyone else have their flight controls all RED and non usable in the Gazelle? I have checked all the other aircraft and works fine. Have run a repair and no joy, click on the axis controls and setup but the are still RED and non functioning. Can't fly this bird without controls :( Appreciate any help - cheers

VR Comms I know this has been raised in another thread but I've not seen it here. Is it possible to bind the warthog throttle comms button to the radio menu? I have it so it can bring up the menu and then select the alternative menu but from there you have to select F1, F2 etc to do anything meaningful. Surely it can't be too hard to have a comms menu where you can select up and down the list then select what you need with a press of a button without referring to the keyboard. Am I making sense? Is this something that is possible or being worked on? Would make life in VR (and non VR) a great deal better.

Hi Guys, I'm just trying out sling loading for the first time and using the rift. Is there anything other than hovering over the cargo at a certain height that is required to hook the cargo? Flying the UH1H. Cheers

Agreed, I can't see why the comms switch on the Warthog throttle couldn't be used for moving up and down in the menu and then pressing for the selection. Would be so easy that way. Anyone from ED able to comment on whether or not this would take much to implement? It would add a huge amount to the VR and normal users as well.

Last lot until it's completed and I'm very happy with how this has come out so far. It's simple, it's strong and it's functional for the Rift. Have a keyboard tray to complete for it in the next few weeks but the mouse tray is level and works perfectly.

Whats your budget? I could do a seat/sim for you but freight might be a bit of an issues from NZ. Check out CKAS for motion platforms if you are serious.

That's a really nice looking B17 unit Hegy, The concept of what you are doing is great and if you pull this off with all you have shown so far then it can only be good for all of us. Don't be too cheap with the price, ensure it's finished well and charge appropriately as you have been putting a great deal of time and effort into this. As an idea, do you have plans for high end products with top quality finishes, switches and knobs etc?

Hegy, is it possible to have the first post updated to show all the products you have planned? With over 130 pages now, it's painful to find everything. Really keen on an ejection handle and also a separate landing gear handle module.

Just a few more cosmetic touch ups before Wednesday The harness tension material is just sitting around the tensioner and not threaded through yet, but this gives you an idea to how it will look. I've gone with some stretchy material so it will stretch up to 3"
