I have been subtracting 6 degrees from the map heading for magnetic variation and putting that in the Doppler. That has been working for me. Magnetic variation is the differences from true North, which is what the map reads and the ruler gives you, and magnetic North which is what your compass reads as north.

I think you need AC power, so if you’re drooping the rotor rpm to low and the generators kick off then you might not be able to do it.

I am having trouble finding the function of the emergency explode switch and getting the switch to do anything. Is it implemented yet? And does it blow the weapons off of the racks?

Is the RI-65 functional? or am I thinking it’s a different system? I found the sound files for the audio warning system, and I turn on the power switch but I have not heard any of the audio warnings.

loss of tail rotor effectiveness isnt prevalent in large powerful aircraft such as mi-8's, it is more of an issue for small aircraft like jet rangers and oh-58's and maybe Huey's. They didn't even mention it when i moved up the the UH-60 course, but it was a big deal in the oh-58 and ranger. And Ground resonance hasn't been talked about much, i think it might be to knew helicopters having better vibration control and Resistance. Not total sure on that, i would have to do some research.

US military pilots don't restrict the PC to one specific seat left or right. I try to alternate everflight to stay profecent in both.

The Ka-50Sh is rated for night flight and bad weather. I would like that version added to the game.

VRS requires near vertical rate of descent at least less than ETL. You can descend as fast as you want about slow speeds because you are out running your down wash. And auto rotational decent won’t cause VRS because you don’t have a down wash at that point so you can descend flat pitch with no airspeed and not get into VRS. Most people are crashing the huey because they are getting into power droop crossing ETL and not pulling in the power to compensate in time. You need low airspeed less than ETL Decent greater than 300 ft. a min And be using at least 20% -100% power applied.

If you’re talking about the vibration you feel during landing then you are talking about transverse flow not ELT. Each aircraft handles it differently. Even among the different Blackhawks I have in my unit some a worse in the transverse flow shudders than others. Blade tracking and balance might play a part in it I will have to ask a maintenance test pilot next time I get a chance

I need help buddy lazing. Should I be using the TISL? I have the bombs to the correct codes. I get the TGP on the same codes and I get it to search and find the laser, what more do I have to do? Do I need to use my own laser? That would seem to defeat the purpose. Once the TGP finds the laser do I need to DMS forward like a normal drop? If someone as a good tutorial that’s in English that would be a great help.

KA-50 ATC I went ahead and reinstalled the KA-50 module and that fixed the problem.

I am not sure if this problem is from 1.2.4 or not. But I am playing a map that I have been playing on for months and I can no longer get ATC to come up. AWACS menu comes up, but there is not an AWACS aircraft on the map. I know my radios are set correctly, even put in the freqs manually. Anyone else having this problem? Ground crew menu still comes up when I land.

I set up FM homing for one of my multiplayer maps, but I am the only one that can pick it up. I used default sounds that everyone would have already. When I give the map to another person and they host it, they are able to pick up the FM homing. Any ideas on why? Is FM homing not multiplayer compatible yet?

Ever since I installed 1.2.4 I can no longer flip on the SA-TLF power switch for the data link. I was wondering if anyone else is having that problem.
