  1. Well, I smell some BST smell there, I just tested for your post's sake, for me clean DCSW 1.2.6 install on SSD, quick mission (empty map) loading time is around 22 seconds. This is why I kept the UH-1H module out from my install previously, because after installing it (the first versions) loading times became abysmal...nature of the beast :D
  2. Not that baaad! First at glance 67-110fps (cockpit) in clean DCS world install SU-25T...
  3. Let's give it a shot, I will reinstall my system soon anyway :D Report back later... Cheers
  4. Hello and welcome to the world of DCS! Go to digitalcombatsimulator.com and in the download section you will find latest dcs world version which is 1.2.6 don't worry about the version difference the autoupdater should take care about it or you can just download the la r est version of huey as well, your activation code will be asked for when you first try to play. DCS uses a module system for a while so the DCS world contains the terrain, AI etc. And the aircrafts are the modules. If any more question occurs don't hesitate to post it :) Cheers
  5. Hey Guys! Once again because I think I've posted in the wrong section... I recently faced with a weird flight model problem regarding to the Su-25 models mainly (haven't tested with the Warthog yet). I'm just wondering if it is a controller problem or DCS problem. So I ve noticed that there is a strange, let's call it "teeter" effect on the pitch of the Su25 and Su25T so you pull the jostick back to climb when you reach the appropriate angle you put it back to neutral and than the angle should stick. But instead the plane very significantly nodding back to a much lower angle. I have tried with a number of different speeds trim settings, first I suspected this is due to weapon load (however it shouldn't be) but I've tried without weapons and the issue is the same. Any ideas? If you request video for it I will try to make one... Cheers

  7. +1 to oculus!!! Better immersion, better performance, smaller price :)
  8. This mod looks pretty promising  , will you release it for the community to download?
  9. Although I have spent only a small amount of time under his wings, I learned a lot from him and I wanted to be back as soon as I would have been able, and suddenly I see this :( , a really really big loss for the community. Rest In Peace
  10. FSX News I accidentally found this emerging fsx channel on youtube, If you like to watch fsx videos definetely give it a shot and support the gentleman. (He buys an addon aircraft after every 100 new subscribers, lets make him poor :D ) http://www.youtube.com/user/Infin8lives?feature=watch
  11. Nice one!
  12. Same problem here since update 1, for me getting new update or repair didn't help. Let me know if you have some solution please :)
  13. Very nice work!
  14. Thank you very much for the help Mue! Disabling trueview solved the problem completely  This is why I love this forum :D Cheers
  15. Hi Guys! I have posted this TIR5 Issue a few days ago but now I've uploade a video about this strange Y axis jump I'm getting regardless of every effort I was putting into solving it. Basicly Every time when I pitch back to horizontal with a decent head movement I got an isntant jump on the Y axis. If you have any ideas about this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
  16. Well haven't tried this, but I'm curious. If you give it a try post the results about differences please :D
  17. A good and deep explanation there , but if they put a massive sized dogpoo in front of you with a label 'ICE CREAM' you'll most probably taste it only one time and then stick with the good old Snickers instead. You can imagine that experiences shared by the guys was based on more like getting a slideshow at places where there was video before than what the fraps counter showed them :D
  18. LOL, the only thing that would be funnier is to warp forward in time. Imagine hitting the refresh button... DCS F/A-18 -> add to cart (only works with edge -> get from download section) :music_whistling:
  19. Yep we all got that the frame pacing is the most important improvement in 13.8, but as there's no label sticked to the 13.8 package saying 'XFIRE ONLY!' we didn't expect a driver to decrease the fps so significantly and as I saw some posts around lately regarding new FPS problems with 1.2.5 update, I was thinking this issue needs to be noted :) Cheers
  20. Hello Everyone! I'm curious about the fellow AMD owners experiences about the new 13.8 Catalyst Beta Driver and I wanted to share mine. Using a single 7950, I updated lately and guess what it gave me 25-30% FPS decrease in DCSW, which is huuuuge! So today I went back to 13.4 and guess what FPS is back on track with 30 average. Anybody else XPd something similar? And what about Crossfire?
  21. +1 here as well
  22. Yep, welcome to the Hog fan club, see you soon out there on the MP servers
  23. That quote was kind of an eye opener for me, basically if can expand dcs to a unified platform the other way around like FSX (combat focused but with civlian side) that could mean a sload of revenue because of new players and new developers, more headroom for developing new combat aircraft. Well said and makes sense
