Hi, I spoke to Thrustmaster representative on FB, and he told me that this is a preorder phase, they don't plan to accept preorders / ship to Switzerland, but once the stick will hit retail (late July), he assured it would be sold in Swiss shops.

Пока нет, но в Пимаксе 8К вроде как пентильная матрица, и при большем угле обзора пикселей на градус будет маловато, как по мне четкость важна и в целом качество картинки. Кроме того я настороженно отношусь к шлемам у которых не 100% стереоскопическое перекрытие (overlap), это может приводить к дополнительным геометрическим искажениям, так как изначально фруструмы камер сдвинуты. Ну и еще требование к железу будет намного выше из за дополнительного входного разрешения изображения. Софтварный стэк меня тоже несколько смущает, очень много всего что должно друг с другом говорить, а это не очень хорошо обычно. Но, конечно, будет возможность - заценю обязательно.

Есть еще Rift S, у которого выше разрешение (по количеству субпикселей) в два раза по сравнению с предыдущим, и в полтора раза Одиссеи. По личному опыту - очень неплохая система. Вот кстати еще одно интересное ревью, человек обьясняет почему (для него) Rift S лучше чем Reverb в контексте X-Plane, в большой мере может быть релевантно и нам...

Hi everyone, currently in DCS we have a black leather texture for virtual pilot hands (in VR). Maybe someone could point me to the texture file that can be edited to repaint them into USAF nomex gloves, or maybe even better, maybe such mod already exist? Thanks for any help! :pilotfly:

Stick is not in the hands of the people to re-sell, but official Thrustmaster shop, accepts preorders and ships everywhere around: Austria, Germany, France, Italy, but not to Switzerland.

Seems that none of the sellers, amazon or otherwise, can ship to Switzerland, well bummer... I guess we'll have to wait and see if it pops...

The latest beta for Oculus Home fixes a lot of issues with S though, so I would recommend flip that "Beta" switch on.

Viggen canopy state (open / closed) is not visible to other players online (it's always closed)

Multiplayer / multicrew bug. Bug in the subject - when RIO jettisons a canopy, pilot of the same jet still has it visible, as nothing happened.

Preorder not available anymore, same as price is not visible either.

Did you guys did latest Oculus Home update? Together with Oculus drivers and firmware. Fixed my black screen issue I had.

Simped vario are very nice rudder pedals though! Very precise, on par with some top-grade modern solutions. I use them myself at the moment, I have USB version.
