yes shkval still goes crazy after 10 years, unfortunately dev team didn't pay attention to this important problem. you can move or copy this thread to ka50 III section since it's happening there too. -
Pilots heads Position mismatching between internal and external views. in single player only for pilot and in multiplayer for copilot and crew chief.

CPU runs +20° hotter in idle after update to 2.9.16.10523.

i saw this problem too with AMD 5600X since the update. high CPU usage and temp at main menu and also in game. temp reaches near 80°C (15°C hotter than normal), also i see no improvement in case of gameplay or loading times. generally higher CPU usage and temp is sign of better optimization for heavy games like DCS but in this case i see no improvement. -

to troubleshoot this, i did slow repair and i also renamed DCS folder in Saved Games too but it is still the same. note that i don't see this issue on my own heli but on other ka-50s in server. -

i uninstalled all mods and checked this issue before posting. i don't think that they can affect these things of other modules. and i repair DCS after every update. -

since a few updates ago launcher adapters of missiles are missing in multiplayer. this is only for other ka-50s in server not player himself.

this is still not fixed after a year. in multiplayer sight cover of other players are closed when they launch ATGMs. like the pic above.

i tried your track file and it didn't happen there. for me this happened in heavy multiplayer mission, syria with 20+ players and lots of ground units (dead and alive), after near 1 hour. but also playing the same server another day and it didn't happen at all.

yes, i can confirm this problem. its happening after a few patches ago but not always. i'm not using VR so it's not related to that.

great work on Su-25A ED, this was the upgrade that i was waiting for. i wish you do the same job for T model since its very old and not much extra work to do. and hopefully PFM of these in future. -
most of Iran airbases are in the that red zone. not just Dezful, Omidiye, Esfahan, Bushehr but also Tehran, Kermanshah, Hamedan, and a little bit to the north Tabriz. Iraq Iraq War in case of scale and duration is not comparable with those short wars like desert storm or Iraqi Freedom or fighting with ISIS that had Toyota. it lasted for 8 years (near 3000 days) and was a full scale classic war between Iran and Iraq Armies in the air, land and sea. everything happened in that war. i can not describe all of those things in a few sentences but i just tell you one thing, in case of air wars near 400 fighter jets of both countries shot down and near half this number damaged. this war was completely ignored in the Iraq map Description and FAQ topic which is very disappointing. i hoped that creators and the company had better knowledge about it. i wish ED expand the map to the east and add Iran and its airfields.

hello. any news about working on the external models? in DCS road map topic the date was 2023 for years. but it didn't happen. these two have very old external models.

Sight covers animation does not work when other players open them in multiplayer. my sight covers open normally, but not the other hinds in the server. i took a screenshot of other hind while he was launching ATGM.

my experience with DLSS (and DLAA) was not good too and i decided to switch back to MSAA. yes it increase FPS but the implementation was so weak in DCS. i saw these problems: -general Ghosting and Smearing in different areas. in displays, instruments, external views, objects etc. -texture flickering in different parts of modules even those that are new. in helicopters this one combined with the movement of shadows of blades will make things even worse. -and performance increase exist in empty missions with low amount of units. when engine's problems show themselves after that not that much performance increase. DLSS in DCS needs further optimizations and tweaks.

Sa-3 give warning, it use I band and it is in range. SA-5 and SA-15 are also H band , should be in range. and yes Shilka use Ku band should be in, the C-RAM give warning and i guess it use Ku too. it need confirmation by ED.

after the patch SA-8 radar lock signal got fixed. but still we get no warning from some SAMs. i tested all of them and with these SAMs we get no warning: ZSU-23-4 Shilka, Vulcan M163, SA-2, SA-5, SA-15 Tor, SA-13 Strela, Patriot are not these within range of SPO-10? or simply game bug? because in mig-21 i could receive warning from all of them.

yes there is bug that sometimes AI gunner does not shoot and Petrovich does not release flares. i couldn't reproduce it yet.

fixed Vehicles are visible through the terrain

yes i read that and it will be a useful feature. but until that update a hotfix is needed.

since 2.9 i noticed that there is no warning signal sound when the fighters or SAM locked on us. spo10.trk

Since a few months ago i see vehicles or other objects like comms tower are visible through the terrain. this happening in both MT and ST. visiblevehicles.trk

since 2.9 network info in stats page is missing. that includes true ping, packet loss, data sent and receive. also ping on scoreboard is no true.
