1.5. I fly the Hornet and sometimes the Yak. When the Tomcat comes out I'll spend enough time to get decent at it but I'll never be good enough to use it proficiently.

Just an on the side note. I see quite a difference with my 2080Ti but my buddy with a 1080Ti, not as much. Could be the tech, I don't know.

The Odyssey plus isn't perfect but no screen door is a significant step forward. When we could go above 1.6 PD I had mine set at 2.0 and man, it was a huge difference. Hopefully the software gods figure out the details and fix that issue. Bottom line, the O+ is worth the purchase. I have Pimax 5K+ coming but this thing is a great interim.

I really hope they fix this 1.6 max PD thing soon. Its a killer.

I had a triple monitor (27") setup with Track IR. It was good, the curves were... ... good enough. I enjoyed it. With the exception of looking back, that never worked for me (overhead more than side to side). Once I got the Rift, I was hooked. There are no issues about where you look, its just goes there. I did however find I needed to work on my neck a bet to get better lookability. lol, made me think about that whole exercise thing a person is supposed to do. I've bought an Odyssey plus which I consider better than the rift and patiently await the Pimax. There's no going back to monitors and TIR for me.

I'll take functional over pretty any day. Keep up the good work.

Are you more than 200% Super Sampling in Steam VR? If so, thats what it does. Dial it back a bit. Also, with the latest drivers and Win10 update, your PD needs to be 1.6 or less or you'll get the white box of death when it launches.

For the love of god, STANDALONE. Do not go Steam. Why? Well, you don't get the beta option which leaves you without a number of updated functions specific to aircraft in early access, which is a lot of them. Along those lines, say you want to fly anything coming to early access, well, you can't with steam. So yeah, go Standalone and be happy.

I thought the same, then I turned them off and I didnt even notice. Most missions are up high so yeah, no shadows.

Just for PSU argument sake. And yes Bitmaster I know we've had this discussion. I'm running the same system OC'd to hell on a 650W PSU. Not one issue.

Had an R3. 3 motherboards later, I gave up. Dell sent me a new system but by then it was outdated and I spent my life with a busted PC. About the same time I bought a Alienware Laptop, hardware issue after hardware issue. They are crap.

Thanks for the reply itarrow. I tried it and it does solve the problem. Seems however that I've become extremely pampered at a PD of 2.0 and its rather hard to revert. I guess it'll do for now until a solution is provided. Have you seen the threads about getting a HDMI to usb-c/thunderbolt adapter to solve the issue? Not sure if it gets this particular problem fixed or not. PS: I'll open a ticket with ED on the topic.

I'm sure its a windows 10 update thing but does anybody else have a white rectangle covering 90% of the screen when you get in game? Menu works fine in DCS, Steam VR has no issues, its just once you get into the cockpit. Beyond that, its a rectangle. big one. If you look down and bring your eyes up, the game is playing, the cockpit and everything is there. You just have this big, god awful white triangle in front of you no matter what way you look. Latest drivers installed, had no issues until today. System specs in signature below.
