lol, yeah man I was puckered up tighter than a hawk in a power dive. :P Thankfully it was just that, a PSU replacement and better installation standards going forward. My case looked like a house that had been toilet papered the second round. Had I had so much as a drop it would have had 10 layers of bounty to go through :)

lol, ok gents, take a deep breath. What I'm getting at is that you can have a PFM with a basic clickable pit and really enjoy an aircraft. I loved the F15 for years until I got into the A-10C, then I couldn't go back to having everything key command but if you gave me the same functionality as the 15 has now with the ability to click a few buttons, I'd be happy with it until a full fidelity model was released. Its an intermediate step between the full fidelity and the FC3 level that I think a lot of people would be happy with. You wouldn't need to spend huge amounts of time learning the systems so it would help new people, but you'd have the ability to be more engaged with the click ability. Just an opinion. I doubt we will ever see another FC3 or slightly better flight model anyway, so its probably a moot point.

I was putting my water cooling system in and got a drop of water in my PSU. Why I didn't pull the plug when I heard the sizzle I don't know but needless to say it cooked the power supply. It didn't however do any damage to anything else. I would suspect that if you had a quality PSU in your system you'll be fine. Mine was a Corsair HX1100. Replaced in kind, no issues in better than a year.

Anyone who has done 5 minutes of research on the Pimax know its not 8K. Everyone knows that running 1.5 DP is a larger task than running Pimax's resolution without increased DP. Everyone knows you don't need 90FPS to comfortably use VR.

I dropped P3D because its sketchy on again off again with FlyInside. I couldn't make falcon happen because I couldn't go back to monitors. Pimax on order. Can't wait.

I'd prefer DCS sticks with combat aircraft. I'm not against recon, transport or any other aircraft current or historical operational airframe but I do hope the future holds true to items that have been in service. I fully understand there are crossover items but if I wanted to fly an extra 300 I'd be in another sim.

Its the best module released to date. The VTOL aspect is absolutely exhilarating. The weapons systems are more than functional enough to enjoy blowing stuff up. Its easy to fly, faster than the A-10 and maneuverable enough to keep the fun up. SEAD is a blast. I honestly can't say enough good about it.

I look forward to crashing the A-4 upon completion. :)

I just have to take a second to congratulate Razbam on an excellent release. Its well on its way to being an absolutely excellent module. I haven't smiled so much in a long time.

yeah, I gotta agree with cichlidfan. I've never had a vid card in a gaming machine for more than 2 years. If the software demands arent there, new tech is. These days more than the last few years with VR being a fresh industry.

ASUS. I've always had good luck with them. For my 1080 founders edition I put an aftermarket waterblock on it.

I know of the technology, I'm looking for more specifics on this particular tech and its usage of resources.

I wonder about CPU usage. Does it hurt FPS? I really want something like this to be successful.

I currently use the Warthog. My previous setup was the X-55. Today, I'd go VKB. The metal internals is the big thing for me. I'm spending a lot of money, I want a lot for it.

It's probably full of Dell crap. I'd start deleting programs your not using from the control panel. I have an old R3 that I use as a secondary computer and it initially came with a bunch of useless software loaded on it. Its really too bad Alienware was bought out.
