  1. After playing several online missions it's become painfully obvious that AWACS/GCI bogey calls don't prioritize nearby threats. They blast out calls on bogeys that are 200 miles away and never update bogeys that are close and more of a threat. That is very unhelpful! I don't think that would happen in real life. Please give the AI brains to filter bogey calls by priority. They should concentrate on imminant threat a/c, and ignore distant bogeys until nearby threats are gone...
  2. This video is a real life training video on the P-47. It will be complete and better than anything DCS does...The video says the P-47 has no tendency to spin in a stall....Lets see if DCS gets that correct...;)
  3. https://youtu.be/SViiqylV0lA
  4. Some things need to be understood in this video. One, this was probably during the early development of the Hornet, so we don't know if any corrective changes were made to the design, or flight control system. Two, this roll was made unloaded (zero G).
  5. I don't think any AI aircraft uses the player flight model...they have a rough approximation of it...
  6. Air Force tankers can be configured to either boom or basket refueling. Please create that option in DCS for the KC-135 (and any new big wing tankers)...
  7. Please bring the KC-10 to DCS...
  8. I would love to see the C-5 in DCS...
  9. I don't see any dropable weapons on the bomber load out page. How do I get them to drop bombs???
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if the Zero inspired the design of the Fw190...it's very similar in appearance.
  11. I seem to remember that the Japanese did get some German equipment during WWII...
  12. [ALREADY REPORTED]Ground Effect Problem? I've noticed that the aircraft gets sucked down to the ground and crash when extremely close to the ground. What happened to ground effect???
  13. I'm not sure that is entirely true. I think their methodology is misguided...
  14. Recorded Missions don't fire AIM-54's. They'll fire AIM-9, but not the AIM-54...
  15. But it messes up track files. The F-14 goes into the grass and ruins the file...;)
  16. I was wondering why the nose wheel is turned to the left when the aircraft is started dark and cold? It seems to have a direct impact on messing up track file recordings...
  17. The nose wheel is turned to one side and prevents the jet from exiting a HAS (Hardened Aircraft Shelter) when watching a track file of the jet trying to taxi out...I don't know why you folks have the wheel turned. It might look cool, but I don't think that is the way the pilot wants to do things...straighten the nose wheel, please. The turned nose wheel is contributing to the problems that already exist in track file recordings...;)
  18. When watching a track file, the Jester Menu doesn't disappear from view. My experience with this happened in external view of the jet...
  19. What's this? I wrote it four years ago and I hear nothing but crickets...:megalol:
  20. Pressing the Sensor Control Switch to the right when the TDC is already assigned to it will place the RADAR in Auto Acquisition (AACQ) mode. If the TDC if (change to, "is")over a target symbol when AACQ is commanded, it will instruct the RADAR to lock on to that target. If AACQ is pressed with no target symbol under the acquisition symbol, then the RADAR will attempt to lock on to the closest target within the selected RADAR scan volume.
  21. Page 224 diagram seems to have the L&S target and DT2 reversed...
  22. The UH-1 H is by far the most difficult to mid air refuel...????
