If you really want to know how things are really done in the Military in Air and everything else then you need to look at the JP series of DOD pubs...

I don't know if there is anyway to tune in the TACAN for the CVN, but apparently the INS marks your original departure point so that you can fly back to it and just turn towards the direction the CVN is headed and you should see it somewhere up ahead a few miles (or many miles).
Does the Mirage have it's own TACAN??? It seems odd to me that it would have one at all. Maybe some sort of DATA LINK function between the two aircraft involving a TACAN on the ground?
One can see 25 foot waves from a storm that is off in the distance. We have them were I live from storms that aren't actually close by...
But, I did set the wind to 50 knots, 5 feet/second turbulence and got big waves and rocking and rolling ship action! Awesome!!!
I was able to launch and recover from the carrier with a bit more difficulty...
I'm not advocating that US ATC be used, except where it would actually occur. That's why I'm curious to know about Russian ATC (and every one else's ATC). Obviously, whatever missions are made should have the ATC that is most likely to actually exist in that mission for the situation you are modeling. That is what I'm most interested in seeing in DCS World.
It would be nice if the Carl Vinson and the remaining 8 sister ships could be provided in the game with the new updates that make the Stennis what it is. They should have slight differences in their hardware and weapons available with small external differences, as well...
I think it more of an agreement between countries as to how handle international aviation...If your country didn't sign on to it then it certainly wouldn't have any authority, but I think it's more of agreed upon procedures that are used to keep everyone on the same ATC page...There are 192 countries that have sign on to ICAO. Which country are you saying doesn't comply with it???
Ship Radio/NAV Frequencies NOT Documented???
None of the ships in DCS World seems to have any documented navigational systems nor radio frequencies so we can fly and operate with them in the Game...Seems this should be addressed...
