The sound of jets in all flight regimes has been an ongoing work in DCS. It has gotten much better, but perfect is a tall order, I'm sure.

I tried to setup an S-300 site on the Nevada map to test the EW functions of my F/A-18C. I put the CP, LN, SR, and TR. Nothing happened. Then I added ROE and such...Nothing happened. My point is that I shouldn't even be able to have this kind of problem. The UI shouldn't allow me to get messed up like this at all unless I want it that way on purpose...;)

I'm pretty bummed that it is so complicated just to set up a SAM site in DCS. Don't real SAM sites have organization and Tables of Organization & Equipment (TO&E)? Why is it not intuitive in the game controls on how to setup a working SAM site, or any other unit? At least make it where I can make a Unit of any size organization and add equipment to that unit. I could drop equipment on the map and select them and ADD to Unit (Platoon) or something. This has gotten way to complex to make units and missions. It seems that it takes a huge book to make any good mission. IMO, this is a huge weakness in DCS!

As long as you fold your wings and stand on the brakes just before touch down, you should be okay...

I think it affects all A/C, and it has been fixed...

Even with the seeing clearly in the distance issue, I'd still go VR. Emersion in VR is unbeatable. The only way it will get better is if it sells good. If no one invests now, then VR dies here.

Something's just won't be seen in real life and planes get shot down. That's why they have rules like fly above 15k feet.

I've noticed that some A/C (ie-F/A-18C) in DCS can't use the radio unless the engine(s) are already started. This means they can't call for engine starts at all. Is this correct? I've tried ground electrical power and even that gives no radios...Is this correct???

You have to call Base Ops or your nearest AFSS...

It makes sense that Naval assets start to become more developed in DCS. Aircraft have a significant combat role in offense and defense involving surface and subsurface platforms.

I set the wind to 50 knots and had the carrier going 20 knots into the wind. Things became a little difficult on the deck...

I fell through the Vinson elevator into the drink and actually sank to the bottom of the ocean. I saw the Vinson has no lower Hull modeled.
