Is there a magnetic compass on the Su-25A? And, where is it?

This is a movie about the Russian invasion of Georgia. It's very relevant to the area in DCS World.

I wish AI aircraft could do closed traffic patterns, touch & goes, low approaches, etc.

Which version of Su-25 did you fly? I didn't find auto pilot.

All I know is that when the Su-27 is lined for a straight in approach, the landing light shines on the grass instead of the runway. Again, why? Nevermind the herd of cattle on the runway. Nothing to see!

Interesting! Why would they point the light away from the runway? What's the designer's rationale? It seems useless to have it that way.

Are these servers operating across the different versions of DCS?

I've confirmed that the lights are correct. However, the landing light is bongked. It is aimed to the left of center and totally useless for land. Hope this gets fixed soon.

It seems that the two light settings are reversed. The taxi light is vastly brighter than the landing light. Please check!

It's kind of funny that DCS World and Thrustmaster collaborated on working together, but didn't provide compatible programming for the AB detent!. It must have been a very loose collaboration indeed.

When I saw this post, I knew it would degenerate fast.

You can do a repair installation and see if that fixes it. It's in the start menu.

It would be OK, if it stays within historical accuracy. Modern campaigns would make more sense than WWII or Korea. Whatever was going on then should be reflected faithfully.

I don't think he means that women haven't flown combat missions. I think he means they haven't actually engaged enemy fighter aircraft in a fight to the death. Maybe WWII Russian women may have.
