One thing I did notice is that if you die and re-spawn you helicopter you can't get the radio menu back. This could be in the game before I haven't tested it.

This is really good,I don't understand why ED didn't add it themselves. It makes the KA50 much more of a threat and gives you much better situational awareness

Cool thanks. It would be really cool/realistic if you could draw on the knee board with the mouse to mark out enemy positions as you spot them! one I should add to the wishlist.

If you are anything like me after you have completed alignment you have to press Nav on the cdu, click Egi behind the stick and make sure the sas channels are enabled on the left.

Surely they would be great models to make Bumpmap texutres from.

You could just paint all the relevan texture parts grey so it looks like a blank space. but I think the button would still be 3D not sure how noticable that would be.

I have just got this dreaded CTD on master server login after alt tabbing to the desktop and the game crashing while in MP. Now I can't login to master server without CTD, how long does it normally last for people?

I will buy it. The great looking F-15 cockpit is worth the price tag alone. Not to mention all the resource management, being able to fly CAS for A-10C ect. ect.

I think of CA as more of an addon to the other Modules (yes it can be fun to fight in tanks and AAA) but most of the time I just use it to stop my friendly AI ground unit from getting massacred by driving head on into enemy troops before I have cleared the area with CAS.

IF you are arming them with a mouse you should use right mouse click, I think.

I thought they where going quite slowly, I was having trouble with overshooting them sometimes. I managed to kill the first one quickly and then catch the second one from 5 miles away on my first try, then I snaped my wing off in a dive ,but I can't have it all my own way :)

I was trying to fly to waypoint 10 or 11 which the in game text said was at 22,000 feet but I couldn't climb high enough before the engine power died because of high altitude. I looked in the editor and it was set to 30,000 feet. Thanks.

This sound like it could be a possibility. but maybe only possible for the developers t do this.

I do find it hard to locate the SAMS sometimes. I tend to run in from 12km-15km away and search for targets. Then use my longer range missiles to take out the SAMS and break off after each launch. then roll in and take out the armour with vikhrs. Cluster bomb can be effective for larger groups of lighter armour vehicles but I tend to change my loadout to missiles and vikhrs.

But I loved it! it was amazing for making viedos with and also it would be amazing if it also worked when you bailout\eject you could continue to use track IR to carry on looking around at the carnage while serenely floating to earth on your parachute. I may have to mod the files to bring it back if ED are not supporting it any move

I would use the Microsoft FFB2 if I where you. I find the Logitech G940 has some bad driver issues when trying to trim in Blackshark. There are some details here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84883

You can try this mod http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82529&highlight=vac+radio+menu but I don't think it works totally the DCS world Yet.

I have installed windows 8 on a new solid state hard drive and DCS seems to run better (smoother with less pauses) but this is most likely because of the faster hard drive, I had to use the work around to get the unsigned track IR driver installed but apart from that it works great on windows 8.
