Something is wrong with the video... it's like stretched out beyond the player's borders and the colours are all out of whack.

I've started playing the A-10C, and in the tutorials there's mention of using the "win" button for some of the commands. But I don't have this button on my keyboard. Can it be rebinded?

Weren't there some interactive training missions for A-10C? I'm sure I read someone mentioning them somewhere, but I've searched the forums and the wiki and I still come up empty :(

I bought the module a few days ago and read through the manual, but there was nothing about starting up the aircraft and then shutting it down. In fact when I was looking at the controls, there really wasn't much other than activating power and engines. Is that really all there is to it? Just keyboard shortcuts for power and engines? I know this module isn't as hi-tech as some of the other DCS titles, but still a bit confused.

I don't understand. You mean you are trying to UPDATE to 1.2.6? In that case, I don't think there is an installer just to do an update. For that you have to use the auto-updater, however slow it might be (it's fast enough on my end).

Relax, guys, about the huey. Wags said all DCS products will be 70% off. So there was some mistake and huey got two discounts instead of one (-10, and -70, for 80 total). So now either someone realized this ir maybe it automatically but it change back to only 1 discount. Unfortunately it took wrong discount, so now just wait a little bit till someone realize this mistake and it will be fixed and you can get huey for 70% off like it was intended. For those that got it for 80% off, well, they got lucky, don't feel envious over 5 bucks...

Try reading through this thread that details how to center the HMS with the hud. I'm guessing you can, using the same method, off-set it so that it appears to be over the right eye. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=107686

Wow, at these prices, I think I'm going to buy ALL the modules today :thumbup: Already have the Black Shark, though, and not sure what's the point of getting the A-10A when you can have the A-10C.

Right click on DCS:W and click on "show keys" or something similar. All keys from different DLCs will be there.

As far as I know you don't even need to begin download on the game. Once your purchase is done, the game is added to your steam library, from which you can view the CD keys.

Oh, that's you in the video! I watched it before and was thoroughly impressed, had to find my jaw on the floor! Didn't know helicopters were capable of that. I wanted to ask, what area of the map are you flying in? Those city roads look perfect for training for this, and also did you enter all the waypoints on the ABRIS manually or is it from a mission? I tried doing some NOE flying after I watched that and slapped the shark against the ground, who immediately lost her tail like a frightened lizard :megalol: Was surprised I could actually continue flying and managed to land on the belly of the front piece of it that was still intact :huh:

I've been playing for a few weeks now, just performing more or less the same routine. I'd do a cold start from parking, taxi to runway, hover check, take off, fly around and then land. During the flying part I'd practice coordinated turns and combat turns (I'm not sure if I'm calling it right, this is the one where you do a 180 degree turn and climb at the same time), as well as the sharp 90 degree turn where you want to make sure you don't lose too much speed in the process (again, don't really know what this maneuver is called). So that above I've been practicing for a while and feel like I'm pretty good at it, or at least much better than I was when I started, since I can't really compare myself to anyone. Now I'm also starting to train weapon deployment on the target practice range, but I feel like there's probably more maneuvers that I should learn before I go into real combat. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding a source for these maneuvers, or tactics I should learn. I guess being military related I shouldn't be surprised it's not as easy as just searching google for it. Maybe somebody here could advise where to go from here?

Actually, I meant "inferior" in the sense of it being an inferior game/module/simulation to the Su-25? Like, less features, poorer flight model, poorer AI, less/worse missions, etc etc?

So the Su-25T isn't "inferior" to the Su-25A, although it's free?
