They have plans for a neutral faction. It's even in the code somewhere so it's just a case of wait till they have it stable enough for release.

Move the model up in Max so the base is just under the the zero mark.

What's the screen shot of it in max?? Have the grid showing as I think it's too low down when exported.. The base of the model needs to be zeroed.

That is just one of the mountains we have to climb when being a modder in DCS. Playing catch up without any documentation or being told on what needs to be done and how to do it.

When the wing tips were removed the sink rate while landing changed [ which made it easier to land I read ] and probably other flight characteristics changed as well.

It's an easy fix.......... sort of. IF ED puts the default Roughmet file in the textures folder/file it would be so much easier..

99.99% of the time- Most mods are installed outside of the main install and go into the Saved Games folder. These add content like Liveries, ground, land and sea community made content. Stuff that goes in the main install are stuff that edit content like the scenery mods from Mustang and Starway. With these when you update the game they are moved into a separate folder and the original/new files replace them. With the OVGME and JSGME you can install and uninstall mods with ease.

What liveries are these..? It might be a easy fix as they might default back to the default roughtmet file in the texture zip file.

ED and 3rd parties don't release the Pilot and helmet templates for some reason...

It's probably the roughmet/Spec files that need editing.

Just need to find out what version the cockpit plans I have...

The AV8 didn't use the SNEB rockets. Probably for the Sea Harrier IF it used them. The closest would probably be the CRV-7 but the GR models used them.
