  1. https://github.com/jweisner/DCS-FAC/releases/tag/v1.5.1 Our very own Pb_Magnet's updated FAC script.
  2. Nice find, those sure do look like BK90.
  3. Sorry to double post, but attached is the F99th FAC script from the http://www.f99th.com website. It comes with the following instructions: 1. Download MIST and CTLD and install into your mission. 2. Edit the fac.lua script to reflect your mission settings. 3. Install fac.lua into your mission. fac.zip
  4. Good evening. We use a modified version of the awesome CTLD script to accomplish this function. The ground FAC is made to an AIR FAC via a script our member made up. I'm not sure if it's shared on here, but the mission file is embedded in every multiplayer track file you have, so you should have a copy of it :)
  5. It seems to have so many neat features that I didn't know about! The targeting computer sounds complex, yet practical for the mission.
  6. Thanks so much for sharing another great Viggen video! The dedication to this beast is evident in the working navigation system!
  7. What a beautiful machine! The shots of that After-burning engine were magnificent. I can't wait to perfect both landing methods shown here.
  8. Profesional Flight Model is an Internal Eagle Dynamics thing. 3rd party devs only have access to EFM or External flight model, which is very good. The Mig 21 Flight model is fantastic, try landing it like a Simple Flight Model plane and pay the price :). Edit: Apparently my understanding is once again way off. This is all way to confusing, please see Sithspawn's post below. who the heck knows what is what around here.
  9. Time off from work will be harder to come by in late January, so I'm a little sad that the release date is a month away. It is nice to have a date to look forward to though :). Good luck on this final stretch LN.
  10. Sounds like a reasonable guess to me. I was hoping for something sooner, but any date to look forward to would be nice. LN, if you need a tester for the Viggen with an X52pro, I'm your guy :) I promise to fly her often and test every available munition :)
  11. Wow that does look great! I can't wait to try some exciting and dangerous low level flying, peel up, then release one of these bad boys!
  12. Fast Start-up The speed of this start up is impressive. It matches what some of the "viggenites" have thought us over the past few months in terms of doctrine. That navigation computer looks retro, and I can't wait to interact with it! :joystick: Thanks for sharing.
  13. Well I feel horrible for posting that, the match was great and the flying most excellent. I have to say I am still very excited about this, and apologize for any pain my post has caused. Good luck, and I can't wait to see more / fly this one!
  14. This. I, for one, am disappointed at the lack of information. I was excited moving into the "announcement week." I have no idea why they said so much then went quiet except for a few tiny posts. anybody on the LN team have an idea of when more info will be released?
  15. The calm is difficult because us Viggen fans were expecting some system details over the weekend that didn't come. Also the tease of information that was supposed to be the "announcement week" kind of fizzled. It's just disappointing to make time to come here often and see nothing but Tomcat posts instead of wanted Viggen news and info.
  16. I've never flown a real Mig-21, but I can say that it performs similar to the videos I've seen of it. I trust that LN has done their homework and research and have done as much as they can to produce an accurate simulation of expected normal flight regimes. This is the first module that I tried that has a "feel" to it and can even produce fun landings. The P-51 also has some "character" to its model, but I tried the Mig-21 first. No developer is perfect to everyone, but I'm a pretty happy customer at the moment.:smilewink:
  17. I'll bet there are some Viggen fans out here just salivating while waiting for the 28th to roll around. I hope that It'll be view-able after the fact for those of us at work.
  18. Just had a change to fly the 21 in DCS 2.0.4. It was a great experience, it didn't drop my frame rate like it used to. The Radar seemed to work (after a longer than normal warm up) and allowed me to acquire targets. I used the R3R to splash two of them, then switched to the R60m to finish a final target before taking a fun flight back to base. What a fun time. I think they have this thing getting polished quite well!!
  19. Awesome Those looked so cool zooming across only a few feet off the water! Some poor ship is going to get it!
  20. Awesome I'm not kidding, when I saw the silhouette of the aircraft, I got chills. Exciting times are coming!! :v: V for Viggen!
  21. That is very interesting! I can't wait to employ these bad boys! the entire weapons load is very interesting, some will be revolutionary to DCS player combat
  22. BIOS settings Attempt to boot off of on-board graphics and access the bios. Once there look for a primary video setting and change it to match the slot of your card PCIe most likely. Also once in a while, newer cards will need the latest firmware running on your mobo, so check for updates from Gigabyte for your bios and follow their instructions to "flash" the bios. Gigabyte normally uses dual bios tech so that this is less risky than normal. Good luck
  23. Bwahahaha - Rudel, you always seem to have a zoom problem with your screenshots:doh:
  24. Worried  - I'm not too sure how this will go. I used to be a Logitech fan boy. Razor products stole the mouse market with the incredible precision. Then my other favorite products the G15 and G19 keyboards with integrated displays and nice macro keys were dropped in favor of a mobile dock thing with little support from anywhere. I know our community is awesome, but I think some of our best coders are getting burnt out on programming DCS. So more external peripherals in crazy languages are not going to get a lot of love :imho:. Will they make a good future HOTAS or other flight product, who knows. If we take the BEST from Logitech (if they still have some good engineers) and the BEST from saitech, we could end up with a great product that is ergonomic and durable.
  25. I am experiencing this on the Nevada map as well. Takeoffs are no longer smooth. Also any wind causes me to go off the runway. There isn't enough rudder or NWS to keep up.
