Tomorrow Tomorrow is another Friday, I sure do hope ED releases the Gazelle update along with a regular patch to the game. Anyone herd any word about an update tomorrow? :thumbup:

This whole thing highlights the problem I was trying to elude to previously. No one can get a hold of this hardware, it's not produced anymore. It seems unfair to ask for support for hardware that isn't available :doh:. I have no idea why such a cool feature isn't a staple in the modern HOTAS. I wish I could get a hold of a new joystick to enjoy FFB, but currently I don't see anything on the horizon that will do that.

Wow, you are correct. The 1.5.4 Mig-21BIS is a beast! I love the way this thing flys in all the regimes I am able to put her in. This is fantastic. I got a massive boost in frames in this version compared to previous patches. This is just fantastic. Thanks LN, your team really pulled it off with this release, a job well done. I would love to test it in some online combat, but there aren't many servers ready for the beta fun at this point. A few flights on the aerobatics server were fun though.:v:

I don't recall mentioning a dilemma, way to try and start a flame war that has no place here. Anyway I was more looking for rumors or posts from other threads such as from wags. Although that patch has still yet to release. 2.0 is awesome except for the broken items that have been fixed but for reasons unknown to us, not patched. This product gets me excited and disappointed all at the same time. Anyway I will leave the conversation as it is clearly not productive to anything:doh:

Friday Update? Good evening, has anyone seen or heard news if there will be an update this Friday, Tomorrow? Version 2 has some problems with the delta wing aircraft that have been resolved by the third party crews, but the patch hasn't been pushed as of yet. I know big things are in the works, with 2.5 and all, but I was curious to see if we are going to have some good news for the weekend. Inquiring simmers want to know :joystick:

They must be flying above a highway, the one that leads to the zone that is dangerous!:joystick:

Perhaps BlueFlag will simply have to come up with a scenario where all of these aircraft face one another instead of the typical soviet vs nato type battle we see.

Is it still possible to get a FFB joystick with any quality? It seems to be a highly demanded feature but the hardware hasn't been produced in years.

That's great! Thanks for the updates without a "full update" I love not having to wait to do some testing/flying of this one. Once IFF is back the skys won't be safe for the enemy :)

That is unfortunate. That will very likely mean another two weeks or more before we see a fully featured mig21. I do hope the next patch will bring back the good radar and combat capabilities.

I wish the folks at leatherneck luck fixing the bugs. I noticed today that the IFF switches do not move anymore.

I wonder what is up, I saw this in the patch notes too, is it more starforce/activation issues or is there a binary problem? The Mig-21BIS is still my favorite module to fly, it just "feels" right. It seems I can get a sense of being a mig driver with this module with the way it flies. :thumbup: I hope Leatherneck can get it going for the 2.0 crowd soon. Lucky for my I understand that an alpha release isn't exactly always stable/perfect.

I feel the need to pull the breaks on my hype train here. While I have no doubts of the quality we will see when they are ready, I have been checking here so often since they said something would be released by now. Im sure I'll hear about it when it's announced from the squadron. I really thought we would have an official announcement by now. Anyway, thanks all here for the great information on what the bird is and what it can do. I look forward to discussing it when we here something about when!

Just wanted to add, this would really add the primer naval bomb craft to the game. Carrier launched awesome!

I tried the Polish bare metal with tail number 0037 to match my bort 37 and it showed up perfect.

You can use the mission editor to arrange a takeoff from ramp to fly it now. You muse keep the radar off. As it being on causes the crash.

NTTR/Nevada Back Seat causes CTD. Reproduce by having MP pilot accept backseat request, next back seat requestor gets Crash To Desktop.

I would highly recommend flying the mig in 1.5, it's just fantastic and all the features seem to work :)

Mr Kev2go, I believe they have stated the issue, stated the problem, and have provided updates when available. I normally don't get on other users, but your post strikes me as rude at best. Perhaps you've never seen an alpha release before, but they are very commonly unplayable, the fact that we have access to any of it is pretty cool and I don't think your post will help the devs nor this community in anyway. Also the topic was for 1.5. The 1.5 build for me plays great, the new skins are very cool. The FPS for this latest patch was improved slightly and made the entire experience better.
