nope. not the case. can you please try to reproduce? Place LAV-25 in a new mission and then load it and see if the unit is showing up or not. Thanks in advance. I deactivated VPC mod but that didn't sovle it for me.

same here. I place ground untis in ME and nothing shows up in the mission. there is also another thread regarding this issue.

Actually the mods do work. It's official content that disappeared. I also tried to make a new mission without any mods and place those objects that are not appearing and i get the same results. Objects not showing. I'll go and deactivate all mods to see if there is any conflict between the mods and the official ground units...

I suddenly experienced the same issue. As I was testing the early stage of my mission, I recognized that some of my placed objects (watchtower armed, infantry, LAV-25 and some other vehicles...) are not visible in the mission... mission is attached. NOTE: you'll have to have several different mods installed to run it (i don't remember exactly what mods are used in the mission.) hercules by anubis frenchpack vpc objects Those are the mods I remember having used. I just changed my saved games folder to another location a few days ago. First I thought this would be the reason, but actually the mods that are installed in saved games location do work. Edit: changed back the saved games to it's original location. Didn't change anything. Ground untis still gone. I'm confused. Please help! Thanks cau_kab_m04.miz

F If you are new to DCS you might be new to the DCS forums as well. If so, get comfortable with the game and the forum --> read the forum rules first. Then, before you ask questions browse the forums and use the search function. You might find quite some things without having to ask anyone. The mod NS430 is actually a payware-mod. As you are new to the game and don't know how to turn it off, you might not even own it. (answer to your question = the reason I told you to use the search function in the forums first)

AMAZING livery! My favourite one! Just on e little thing... ....can you please remove the white "do not paint" on the nose section of this livery and make the refueling markings black? I think it would be 97% accurate then...

I just can't get the hercules_cargo.lua script to work. loaded as shown in the video above, but nothing in my herc to drop. tried with v5.6. I just don't get it. Also in ME there is no hawk payload showing. Is it me or v5.6?

I love the mod. Thank you very much! my only question (to ED) is: why isn't it implemented this way in the vanilla version of DCS?! Because this mod looks so much better than the standard smoke.

Hopefully someone who is more talented than me can make a skin-template for this beauty...

Same problem here. Is there anything to be aware of when giving the command via the communicatins-menu? Or is it just not possible because of AI-dumbness?

I did some testing today. (just looking at FPS behavior during flight, so it was more a "test by feel" than monitoring overall system-performance) seems that the latest update brought back a good amount of fps for me. still not where I am on 2.5.5 but way better than the first few 2.5.6 releases. ED is heading in the right direction, I'd say. Well done, please keep it going this way!

This should be a standard feature. What else are these fuel trucks for if not for refueling? Just eye candy?

1) use the search function of the forum first (you might find solutions without having to ask for it) 2) specify your issue as exact as possible. if you describe your problem precisely (screenshots, performance-data, track-files etc.) people might be able to help you finding a soloution for/with you. 3) post your settings(ingame, gpu/cpu-specific, etc.) when asking for performance related help

Are you playing OpenBeta 2.5.6 or Stable 2.5.5? I'm asking, because there are huge differences in performance between the two versions for most of us. If you are on OB, just wait for another update or two, because there are many players who suffer from severe performance issues since the rollout of 2.5.6. Maybe try a rollback to 2.5.5 and see if this helps.
