  1. Indeed, thats what i'm also waiting most from DCS:WW2.
  2. I've seen both of those (Spit and Mustang) several times in airshows, both did nice show. Don't know why Spit seems slow on that video, maybe pilot is just taking easy for some reason? By the way, there is not much difference in size of Spit and 109.
  3. Please guys, no boost or fuel wars this time. :) Would love to see some screens of Spit but i guess we'll have to wait quite some time for them...
  4. Then you are ignorant or not willing to believe the facts. G10 and K4 was fully capable to fight against any allied fighter even in '45 and survive/win. Yes, there was better machines available by then and yes, 109 best performance days were over but it was still FAR from garbage, no matter what your personal opinion about it is.
  5. Yep, it's recorded day before accident and belly landing. I've heard those rumors too but don't know what to believe. Plasa was pilot of Rote 7 for many years so it sounds quite weird.
  6. Great sounds there too with HD quality:
  7. AFAIK that clip was taken from japanese document and music is added there to hide commentator voice.
  8. And, especially the sounds of mighty Daimler-Benz: Edit, nevermind, get it.
  9. IIRC it was only allowed to use 4x10min periods with 5min pause between them.
  10. Yes they would indeed.
  11. This kind of troll comments are so useless. It doesen't matter if you don't like 109 or not, it should be very clear to any warbird fan that 109 was definitely not garbage by any standards. It was, and always will be one of the finest ww2 fighters of all time. And "one of the finest" doesen't mean it was absolute best, wich it wasn't, especially in '44-45 anymore.
  12. Very hard decision, but i have to say K4. I love Doras too but 109 have always been "my plane".
  13. Not bad solution at all, i lost few planes but most important thing is that DCS:WW2 is actually happening. Wich was not too sure earlier...so i'm happy! :)
  14. Well i agree that 190 was easier to newbies. 109 needed much more hours to get used to it. But "newbie killer" is bit overstatement here in my opinion, as reason why LW newbies could not fly them properly (in late '44/45) was because they had way too few hours for ANY ww2 fighter...
  15. Let's take it easy here...What were those "great difficulties" here in your opinion? Please remember 109 developed whole time and K4 was almost totally different plane when compared E4 for example. Different wings, ailerons, rudder for example. 109 was actually one of the easiest ww2 planes to fly. Only very high speed manouvers were bit problematic because controls became stiff but it was not only plane with this problem, for example Mustang had similar problems too. In take-offs and landings 109 needed some careful treatment but again, once you know what to do there was no big problems and K4 should not be any more difficult here than say G6, actually K might be bit better because wider wheels and longer tail wheel.
  16. MSi Radeon R9 270X 4GB OC edition.
  17. You forget that Dora was better in climb & turning. Again, both are better in some areas than other.
  18. My favourite is better than your favourite :megalol: "The results were that both machines were fairly evenly matched." Tempest may be faster than D9/13 in low level but in high alt fight results might be different. In my opinion both planes had some advantages above other and therefore it's not possible to simply say "this one is better than that".
  19. Well my summer vacation started today (1month). I'm going to drink lots of beer, re-paint my BMW M5, go some punkrock gigs and do some trackdays with my Kawa. Dunno if all this will help in waiting tought...
  20. Me too, but so what. It's only money :D
  21. Anyone else noticed that there seems to be updated model of Dora in the screens? It's easy to recognize from panzer glass wich was way too thin on older model. New one: Old:
  22. Nice! Where i can find rest of them?
  23. Well i was thinking something from Junkers...maybe 88, 188 or how about 388? That would be supercool 1945 bomber :smoke:
  24. +1 to that, easily my favourite too on allied fighters. Would have been better choice to this company than Spit IX imho... Still, i wish next plane to DCS ww2 would be some twin engine aircraft, preferably bomber.
  25. Out of interest, why AS/ASM? Or are you just looking general information about DB 605 series? There is power curve of DB 605 DC with MW 50 in JaPo's K4 book but i don't know if it's original german or not.
