  1. Somehow if i choose cold start or any mission with engine off i can't move throttle even with lock off. In missions with engine already running it works like it should. Using X52 pro throttle. Anyone having similar problem? Also can't figure out how to map elevator trim to one of the trim wheels of X52. I use them with P-51D but can't remember how i assigned them.
  2. No, not at the moment. Don't know if this will change in future.
  3. Well that was my point :) Shot close enough and you can actually hit something. I just shot AI Mustang with three cannon and three MG hits in my latest fight.
  4. Yeah, you should try Olympus or Nikon next time :smilewink: More seriously, DM sure need some work but i found cannons quite effective when shooting close enough. Few hits and down goes Mustang.
  5. +1 I'm pretty sure 72" boost pony will come when DCS WW2 is released. And i personally have no problem with that or even 75" 'stang. My favourite, 109 will be underdog anyway in some ways, that's just part of fun.
  6. You guys are hopeless...instead of learning to use your plane strengths and only entering battle when you have clear advantage you want plane that can dominate BOTH low and high altitude. Then we _need_ also D13 and K4 with 1.98 ata etc etc.
  7. I'm pretty sure it's that way just because pretty much all russian fighters have wingspan about ten metres.
  8. It is indeed, i love it. Real pleasure to fly. :pilotfly:
  9. Same here. Wohoo! Too bad i don't have much time to fly in next few days...
  10. Go for it, it's MUST have for all Dora fans. No cheap but definitely worth of.
  11. Lt. Karl-Heinz Ossenkopf's comparison with Mustang: In normal combat maneuvers they were both about equal, however D9 had a little advantage. In a dive, Mustang was slightly faster. His summary against best allied planes: "Overall, we pilots of JG 26 were very pleased with these new machines. Yes, we were doubtful at first, but we became more confident and felt we at least were equal or in some cases, even better allowing us to win the battle in a Fw 190 D9." 12. There will be Normandy map for WW2 planes. And probably many others once EDGE is out...
  13. You have probably seen this already but i'll post it anyway: http://penelope.uchicago.edu/~grout/encyclopaedia_romana/luftwaffe/colors.html
  14. Seems so. G6 manual says flip button for MG's and top button for cannon. When wing cannons were used, flip button for fuselage guns (mg's and cannon) and top button for wing cannons.
  15. Modeller's eye No.4 FW 190 D9 Dora.
  16. I was going to disagree but then i fortunately re-check from my books and you are right :) One button for both cannons and MG's in D9. Should never post anything before checking sources...
  17. Yes, i've keep one eye on that BOS topic :) I guess 280 euros is not that bad for quality product. Might get one in next year...
  18. Ok, thanks. Did a bit googling and looks like they are great sticks (if a bit pricey :)). Would love to have KG 13 handle to my MS FFB2 base...
  19. Looks great, what stick is that and how much? :joystick:
  20. Yes it was possible to fire cannons and mg's separately and i'm sure it will be also in DCS Dora. Both Bf 109 and FW 190 had KG 13 control stick and there was separate buttons for mg's and cannons. Edit. i was too slow :)
  21. Noticed all these too. Also lighting seems somehow better now, placebo? Don't know for sure but dogfights feels better than ever now...and updated Dora external model looks awesome! Can't wait next tuesday...
  22. I hope that isn't the case, but in current DCS external 3d model they are too thin indeed. But in some recently released shot it seems they are fixed, we'll see soon. Or am i only one who thinks there is difference?: Old: New:
  23. Well, judging by screenshots we've seen so far, it will be pretty much spot-on.
  24. Yep, old but still funny clip!
  25. Couple more, this time from JaPo book "Messerschmitt Bf 109K camouflage & marking". Still the best book available about K4 paint schemes IMO.
