  1. And that all on 1 core except sound. Does it tell something? Yes, it does. The other question is if we need super detailed every vehicle with every wire and screw modelled if we see them from long distance in 90% cases? It is nice ED models in such detail but hey, they've forgotten about performance. I really hope newer engine will make drastic performance up together with quality of image.:thumbup:
  2. Yep, for cookies I use CookieMonster and by default I deny all of them except few sites I visit regularly. From time to time I delete and renew when visiting page again.
  3. Exactly, I block 90% scripts in NoScript (I allow only essential ones) and 99% ads via Adblock. Easy and effective.
  4. Weird picture, combination of space and plane is a bit "oooo really?" This is not Star Trek :) It'd may look better if suited to the forum theme or banner and forum made by one theme as whole suite. PS - new forum themes would be nice, it's been years of using this red, blue colors, bleeeeeeeeee
  5. Recently it was added to World of Tanks, and I think it looks much better now.When you focus on the other tank (it has similar speed to you) you see a bit blurred background and crisp tank. I like it. But agree should be option to turn it off and on (or slider).
  6. I like MB, saw it in few games and think it'd be good to see. Tried also to use ENB series and SweetFX but somehow DCS crashed when using this, so no bloom effects I like.

  10. I see big FOV - why in DCS games moving head makes picture distorted on the edges? In BMS there is less effect even with quite big FOV. In DCS you have to decrease angles to get no distortions at all, which makes it looking weird.
  11. LO is arcade, er semi-arcade game. There was no info for ED regarding Shkval till they've been given the right to make Ka-50. Making Shkval the same as in Ka-50 would eat too much resources I think. ED will do DCS:Su-25T someday, then it will be fixed.
  12. I just played 1 hour - not very impressed. I nicely remember EarthSiege 2 and pity there is no similar game today s far I know. I will give chance to Living legends and see.
  13. Su-25T's Shkval is arcade. There is no anything like automatic snapping. How could software from 1980-1990 know your target gate is over the target, not some rock? Even today's is not capable of full recognition of targets. It is accepted that in LO, Su-25T can lock enemies from 15 km, often 12 km in ideal day conditions.
  14. Memory panel is similar :D Regarding RWR I've read they removed old Beryoza because it was to be Pastel. But cockpit look so tight and small (pilot's view must be low at least) that I don't know where they could put another screen. Another info I read in 2009 - some higher ranks military officials wanted to renew Su-25T(M) because it was worth. It is not bad idea, they could just replace old TV, re-arrange a bit cockpit, and change Vikhrs for something better.... on such plane they are not too good. The rest - airframe - is not bad.

  16. Cool, CA is one of my most favourite addons. It has flaws but I hope they will be resolved. It'd be cool to have radar for radar SAMs and possibility to lock target via radar display (not visually if you don't see target being in TOR). Also some helper for Tunguska missile aimer because when you move mouse which is being pointed over the target, it is not going smoothly - and by that missile will fail to hit. To follow target via manual lock you must keep moving mouse, sometimes there is no space on desk :D New interface for unit commands would be better too, some buttons radar on\off, weapons type change and so on.
  17. The new Samsung Galaxy S V is to be one of the most dense pixel phone around. About 550 ppi for 5.2 inch. Resolution is more than 1080p standard there :) What ppi does Oculus have?
  18. Well, for me there is no good view in front of pilot, that black box above TV takes a lot of it. Seems so tight there too. There is really no space for more displays. Any pictures from the "eyes" of pilot?
  19. IR jammer is very simple in 25T, today for newer systems it'd rather attract missiles not pull them away. HUD is unknown. Shkval is far behind being realistic at all, quality of image is like in HD camera - also in BS. I read somewhere it is due to performance. GG may say more specific and technical details.

  21. A lot of changes. Nice :) I only regret there is no radar for ground units for CA... bu t at least there is engine smoke. Hunting for poor MiGs time to start :D I hope that patch will bring FPS back to 1.2.5 state and before. This. Were those effects decreased because in real life this bomb is not so hmmm "hollywoody style" or just to get more FPS by the cost of real-bomb look? If the second we have treatment of wound not the cause of illness :)
  22. Wow if you got so huge FPS boost on this grandpa-PC by just replacing GFX, it may be good reason to replace mine. I have i5 2500K, but not overclocked, so basic 3.3 Ghz, 8 GB RAM and GT560Ti 1 GB and since 1.2.6 my FPS lowered about 40% I guess. It is weird because I haven't noticed any GFX improvement in the game. Interesting if I could get back those lost FPS after replacing GFX...
