Well I played it and remember those days. Really great memories and nice events. There was one based on 169th... about 100 people, insane amount. Been proudly assigned to AWACS escort in Su-33 :) Succesfully fulfilled my job as same as rest of the team. We defeated dirty capitalists :D HyperLobby was nice too, sometimes it was really funny to read messaged between folks like "you moron" for killing someone on ground :D Now there is emptiness, something has been lost. Perhaps people grew up, finished school, studies, started families and went own way. But ED didn't help much, ServerBrowser is a pile of crap, no VoIP, no chat app and plenty of other things. Not mentioning insane DCS requirements for the level of GFX it offers.

Replay will never work as it should be. Replay just repeats movements, where there is difference in FPS, it will corrupt after while - especially in heavy environment it can be broken just after 5 minuts since it started. It is not movie :)

Flight characteristic is much more closer to vanilla Su-25.... but it cannot use any Vikhrs, so far I haven't heard of any TV\FLIR pod manufactured for Su-25SM - yes, it is blind, no TV, no Vikhrs. You have Kh-25ML, Kh-29T, KAB-500Kr (GPS too) and rest of vanilla Su-25 weaponry. So not against moving targets, not precise weapons like Su-25T or A-10C against vehicles.

I don't know how anyone could willingly use basic Su-25 over T-brick to attack enemy. Vanilla is just a slightly better ancient II WW plane (or Korean War) with bigger engines and payload weight.

So when did Leatherneck say they are going to release Su-22 addon? :D

Yes, but there already is new 3D model with good textures. IMHO no point to change to old model if u can download new one.

It is simplification, in real life as far I know army was not pleased of this devide and quickly scrapped it. It had low resolution and it could see tanks for about 3-4 km. Shkval quality is also overpowered, we have now HD picture instead of pixels.

As Etheraln said about specific missions, I may add I sometimes start server up for weird planes, you can fly Su-22 with Su-25T cockpit, use ATAKA missiles, Vikhrs, or just to kill 200 sams in one area by Su-24Fencer :P I can't get Kuznetsov flying yet, but I am trying. :D

But being killed by HoJ mode requires you to be flying potato than fighter pilot, something changed in this matter?

While ago I was more excited about Nevada, EDGE and so on. Now I just yawn when I hear it. There are better things to do than thinking about something seen on pictures and read "it's there!", "just around the corner!", "wait only next X years".

Yeah buying new CPU to get more 5 FPS will be perfect solution :)
