Really good news! Thank you.

Thank you for the heads up. Good to know that it was implemented. Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.

I got it. Fly the aircraft, stabilize the attitude you what, press button, move stick to center, release button, fly the aircraft. It's good for non FFB joystick. Good work! Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.

That is totally possible. I recall a maintenance fly test I've made to a AS365N1 that had the AFCS system broken (yaw command) and we had to test it by letting the anti torque pedals alone, and I recall I was around 80 to 100 knots and the AFCS just responded with almost full right pedal and it ended up like in your movie. Plus a lot of noise from the airflow and new pants!!! The only difference being the attitude of the aircraft, it wanted to roll left and nose down, I think, front what I recall. Cheers. Edit: Although the full rotation is almost impossible to do with forward velocity. The vertical fin is too big and creates a lot of yaw. You would pass the power limits (torque) in the Dauphin. Cheers.

As far as the yaw movements goes, probably if the rotation is too high, you could run out of anti torque authority (LTE), also the pilots would lose control after a while, you cannot maintain that rotation speed forever without the pilots suffer consequences. In the dive, probably yes, but if favorable conditions are meet you would end with a cut tail version of the Gazelle. Also if well succeed, the helicopter would be a total wreck. It is not meant to have those kind of stresses.

I am a commercial helicopter pilot with a master in aeronautical engineering. Like it was said, there are a few things that needs adjusting and fix in FM. Those are being taken care off, as developers have announced. It is true. You can do all sort of things to a helicopter. The difference is if you only do that thing once or if you are able to do it again. Of course you can do what RC helicopter do. The problem in helicopters with a greater mass is the forces involved in doing that maneuvers. BO105 from Red Bull can do it, under special permission, and when the cicles for those maneuvers end, the airframe is wreck. Heck, give a 900 kg helicopter some stiff blades, a really powerful engine and negative pitch angle, and hire a really crazy pilot without love for is life and after some crashes he'll hover inverted also. Like someone said, small or big conventional helicopter, the applied physics are the same, what is different are the magnitude of those physics and material used to overcome those magnitudes. Give some credit to the developers who made a huge effort to bring you such a deep simulation into your desktop. A few year ago, it wasn't possible to have such a simulation in a desktop PC. Also, I was one of the firsts to criticise the behaviour of the flight model. And as soon as developers said they were working on it I completely shut up and wait for the next update, with the certainty that if there is something out of place or that feels odd, I'll be the first to ask again and criticise. By the way, I fly the AS365N1 (has fenestrom) and the AS350 B2 and B3. Before I've flown R22 and R44. And be sure that develpers are working with real world helicopter pilots. Regards. And, thank you. I surely like to drink some beers and to tell some annedotes. Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.

Cool. Didn't know about that. But it would be good if ED would make those available. And also a selectable era threshold, so only era units show up. Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.

Ditto! To reinforce this idea, if I told my superiors that a product is finished with incomplete manuals, they would look at me and joke, last thing would be unemployment. Specially in the aviation industrie, where pilots need to have their manuals finished. Eheh! But, seriously, they should finish the module. Like the person above said, it's unprofessional. It's a lack of quality insurance. Hope they fix it as well as finish earlier modules before committing to new ones.

Also, there is a frustrating problem with FF, in which the FF axis becomes messed up if you press Radio button (DCS W 1.5) or if you switch views (DCS W 2.0 in Mi-8 for example). Please, fix this...

Hi guys, Just what to express my opinion regarding implementation of Force Feedback in DCS World 1.5 and 2.0. The are a lot of third party modules that come out without a simple force feedback (FF) setup. I am fully aware that some of this developers don't have FF joysticks to test their modules and also that the products usually are in a alpha or beta stage. Even though I am fully aware of the above, I request ED team or 3rd Party Devs to always implement a simple centering force in their releases, because otherwise the modules become useless for those that only have FF setups. I am also aware that there is a FF third party application that emulates FF (simFFB.exe), but sometimes this does not work. There are a few examples that does not have implemented a simple FF centering force, although few, there are some still without it. I have to personally says thanks to RAZBAM team, even without a FF setup at the time, they fully implement FF in the next update after the request. I am fully aware that VEAO Simulations and Polyshop-Simulations will follow the same steps as they are also aware of the problem. So, I ask for all the development personnel have this in mind when they release a module earlier. Thank you for your attention. Kind regards.
-
Sure, no problem. Not asking an advance FFB system (like UH-1 or Ka-50) to be fully developed. So a simple spring model, will suffice for now, without that the MSFB2 does not have any centering function. Thank you for having the time to reply.

This is going to be one really good module.

Cool! Thanks, then there is a bug with AI. Because they have both ON on the ground. Sorry, but as soon as I saw the manual incomplete and with errors, I stopped reading it. If this isn't beta shouldn't the manual be finished? Either that or they launched an incomplete product. Sorry, but I feel that too much of Belsmtek's modules are incomplete even though they are announced as released, like the F-86F... Also, the six 12,7 mm guns feel under powered, did they really shot a lot of Migs with those? I can't do any damage on the Mig-15s... :D Thanks for your reply, I just feel this module should get a little more attention. Everyone turned their heads for the F-5, hope they get back and finish the other modules.
-
Can I personally ask you guys to implement Force Feedback. It is critical to guys that only have FF joysticks. Even if it is just enabling the simple centering force. Otherwise the module renders itself useless, so I guess it is really imperative it goes in the next update. Thank you for your attention. Continue the great work.

Just a simple and not useful idea. Can the weapons officer/FO move it's hand to the firing controls, only after master arm is on? Much like what you have done in the Gazelle NVGs. That would be awesome. Great work!
-
Another thing I found, was the missing take off or taxi light, only one lights up, is there a way to turn both ON? Also there is a winning sound, after flying for a while, does anyone knows what is it?
-
Mmm... It looks like beta in some aspects... No sound of gear retraction; no key for toggling pilot bofy on and off; manual incomplete... I'll tell more even I find. Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.
-
Hi, First, is there a way to hide the pilot's body? Second, is this module already in the final version or is it still in beta, because the manual seems unfinished? Thanks
-
This still happens to me in the latest version to the date of this post. After exiting a generated mission in ME the game just stood there 20 min + and nothing happened. Sent from Tapatalk via Samsung Alpha.

Hi guys, I am trying to make some missions around the Korea war theme, but I found that DCS lacks a lot in units of that era, either aircrafts and ground units. Is there something in development to make more era specific units? Regards.
-
Did you finish it?

Is there anyway or reporting a player in multiplayer? The situation is this: A guy enters the server, start doing team killing, is warned, even jokes about it, ruin the game for everyone. Is there anyway of reporting a situation like this? It is quite frustrating. Regards.

Hi there, I joined a server running a training mission (Dragon?) Havok server. Then from one moment to the other appeared huge craters... I'll post the images. I come in for landing and when I was rearming, a huge crater appeared in the middle of the airfield. After start my plane just clip beneath the ground and collided with the water. As anyone got those, anytime? Regards.
